Explanation of the Procedure of inward custom processing
The inward processing procedure allows the management of the organizations to modify,
destroy as well as repair goods in the custom territory without paying duties for the import. The
compensating products then, can be re-exported as well as released for free circulation.
Importance of the procedure
One of the chief importances of the inward custom processing is that, due to the
mentioned procedure organizations don’t have to pay import duties and other activities on the
goods. No commercial policies measures get applied in so far as they do not prohibit the entry or
exit of goods into or from the custom territory (Häntsch & Huchzermeier, 2016). A good number
of producers use goods that included raw materials as well as intermediate products during the
production of the semi finished as well as finished goods the inward processing procedure was
created for creating the same conditions for these producers as for the producers of developing
countries. This in results in developed economic activity of the nation.
Effectiveness of the Procedure practices in GAC
The procedure practices in General Administration of Customs, is highly effective.
However in order to enhance the effectiveness of the existing procedures, more strategies needs
to be implemented in future.
Research Methodology
For collecting data associated with the research, both primary as well as secondary data
collection method will be followed. In order to collect primary data, interview of two custom

officers of GAC will be interviewed. In order to collect secondary data, 5 academic research
articles associated with the research topic will be reviewed.
When it comes to data analysis, qualitative data analysis will be conducted. Qualitative
data analysis can be defined as a non-statistical and methodological approach taken by
researchers to conduct an in depth understanding of the research issue (Mihas, 2019).
