discussion is based on the given case study, of two individuals joining to start a business
related to providing food services to the international students travelling in Australia. The
assignment will mention suitable business structure to manage their new ‘Economical and
healthy food business’.
The case study is about two individuals, Obama and Osaka who eventually came
together to start a new business, through which they will focus upon providing healthy and
economical food. This is particularly for the people or students who travel to Australia on
weekends, or for vacation. For the purpose of starting business or managing their costs, they
have some amount and assets to be invested in their business. However, it is essential for
them to follow a particular business structure.
Every organisation or firm follows a particular business structure, as there are five
common business structures, sole proprietorship, partnership, corporation, LLC, cooperative
and others. Thus, the essay will mention or provide recommendations about most suitable
type of business structure available for them (Roberts, 2018).

To state about the various type of business structures used in context to business
organisations it has been analysed that partnership is one good form of business organisation.
The business structure of partnership refers to the legal form of business operation between
two or more individuals who work together and share management and profits. However,
looking at the case of Obama and Osaka it can be stated that Cooperatives is one of the best
option or form of business, which is mostly applied by multiple people coming together to
start a business. Cooperative refers to the business operated and owned for the benefit of
those using services. Under this form of business structure, Obama and Osaka will be able to
share their earnings, and profits and other issues affecting their incorporation. Thus, it has
been found as most suitable business structure for their business (Noe et al., 2017).
