Operation management is the area of management which is related to the planning and
process of evaluation of manufacturing and reconstructing the organisation so that to produce
any goods and render any service. Further this includes designing the strategies, coordinating and
evaluating those strategies into the employees and looking for required resources for the process
of manufacturing (Alase, 2017). The leader and a manager are the two differentiated persons
which plays significant role in the organisation and process of management operation as well.
The company taken for this report is Morrisons which is a super market having head office in
Bradford, UK. Morrison is the fourth largest supermarket chain of UK having headquarter in
Bradford, UK. It was founded in 1899 by William Morrisons. Currently it is having 498 stores
across UK. It is having a single chain outside Britain which is in Gibraltar.
