INTRODUCTIONProper management is very important for a company to succeed in the long run.Managers and leaders of a company play a very important role in the organisation. A companycannot work properly if there is no manager in it. It depends on manager to take variousorganisational decisions of planning, organising, directing, and controlling. Leader is animportant person of a company. They leads the employees of the company towards the success.They motivates the workers to achieve the organisational objective. Starbucks is a good exampleof proper management and good leadership firm. Starbucks is an American coffee firm whichwas founded in Seattle, Washington in 1971. Starbucks was founded by Jerry Baldwin, ZevSiegl, Gordon Bowker as a coffee serving venue. It has now over 30,000 venues all over theworld. Kevin Johnson is the present CEO of Starbucks. There are plenty of coffees available inStarbucks. The company employed 2,90,000 workers approximately in the year 2018 across theworld. The company hierarchy is unique of Starbucks.TASK 1P1 Comparing role of leader and managerLeader is a person who helps the company in leading, who holds the high rank in thecompany, and whose decisions are accepted by everyone working in that company. A leader justby seeing his subordinate should be able to lead his subordinate.Manager is a person who is in charge of a certain group of company and people report tohim in every case. People by their will follow a leader and by their duty follows a manager.
