INTRODUCTION Operation management is a process of continuous improvement in quality & functioning of organization's activities. This presentation includes approaches of operation management used by Google. Further, this presentation elaborate, values & importance of operation management in Google. At last, this report explains roles of leaders & managers in improving efficiency of operation management in the company.
Approaches to operation management & role of leaders & managers Operation management is defines as an activity managed by each organisation which includes designing, controlling & maintaining various procedures of manufacturing & restructuring all the operations related to production of product & services. There are various approaches of operation management such as Total Quality Management, Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing and Kaizen. Google uses various approaches of operation management for managing development process & operations of the company which are discussed below- Total Quality Management-Total Quality Management is an approach used by Google according to which all the employees & members of the company give a commitment to offer better quality products & services to its customers by improving quality of its products and eliminating errors.
