The significance of the effective formation of the organizational structure in the
modern world of business is increasing in a notable manner and that is pretty prominent with
the increasing urgency amongst the organizations regarding the restructuring of the
organization design in accordance to the business requirements. The changes in the business
industry or the changes in the type of the business requirements are observed to play a
significant role in forcing the organizations towards the smaller changes such as the changes
in the polices or procedures, however, for the change in the organizational structure or
design, the size and intensity of the variation in the business industry is expected to be large
(Jones 2013). Under such situation, the organization requires to make sure that the changes in
the structure, processes and the policies of the company have certain amount of feasibility
and in order to analyse the feasibility, the company faces the necessity of making sure that
the changes add value to the business operations of the company (Tran and Tian 2013). The
paper discusses regarding the business operations of All Seasons - Knitwear manufacturer
and retailer where it analyses the capability of the new business structure of the company in
generating value for the organization.
Creation of value:
With a precise understanding of the business operations of the company, it is
understandable that the company has the capability to create value for their customers with
the formation of the best seller products which belong to the optimum level of quality. Under
such situation, the company faces the need to design their products in accordance to the
preferences of the customers. Considering the changing dynamics of the market and the
increasing level of competition in the knitwear industry, it is visible that the companies are
facing the need of incorporating the preferences and requirements of the customers in their
design (Fleming and Cottle 2015). The ability of the companies in aligning the preferences of
the customers in their designs is observed to be crucial in obtaining a larger customer base for

their products and at the same time, it is important for the companies in generating the much
required customer loyalty amongst the customers of the knitwear industry (Ramayah and
Yeap 2017). Hence it becomes important for the company to design their products in
accordance to the inputs of the customers which increases the customization aspect of the
products and the involvement of the customers with the company. In order to achieve such an
ability of creating value with their products and services, the company has the necessity to
restructure their customer relationship management system with a precise focus on the
demands of the customers. The ability of the company in improving their efficiency in the
customer relationship management system will be significant in increasing the value of the
business operations of the company.
Other than this, the company has the capability to generate value through the effective
management of their resources. From the above discussion, it is visible that the company has
the objective of improving their ability of manufacturing and designing the products in
accordance to the preferences of the customers. However, the ability of the company in doing
so, is seen to be significantly dependent on the skills and competencies of the employees of
the company. With a precise knowledge of the growth and work pressure in the knitwear
industry, it becomes important for the companies to make sure that the employees are
managed well in terms of physical and mental health so that the employment is effectively
managed. With a precise focus on the job pressure, there is high possibilities of employees
getting frustrated with their operational activities and under such situation, the company
needs to intervene with the effective formation of the training and developmental activities as
that will be crucial for the employees of the company in improving their skills and
competencies (Porter and Kramer 2019). The improvement in the skills and competencies of
the employees will be crucial in decreasing the job dissatisfaction of the employees and that
will certainly create such strong value for the employees that it will effectively retain the
