1. Introduction
Decision making is a central part of the modern business management. The process of
decision making can be regarded as the balance and check system which helps in keeping the
organisation growing, both in terms of linear and vertical directions. In other words, it can be
said that, decision making process seeks a specific goal. The contextual factors are basically
the characteristics of the environment that are related to the effectiveness of a collaboration.
It is widely regarded to be influencing the performance ranking and decision making process
of the organisations. In businesses, decision making capabilities play a significant role in the
overall success with the high skilled employees often required for making the right decision
under high time pressures. The contextual factors also play a significant role in the selection
of strategic decision methods.
