Decision Making Alternatives in Management_1

MANAGEMENT
Executive summary
The report focuses on various decision making alternatives. The alternatives include
intuition, logic and balanced method. I should come up with the best alternative that suits my
strengths and personality as a student. Additionally, the report discusses the major and minor
decisions that I make in my everyday life.
The study helped me find out that I use the balanced decision-making alternative. The
alternative suits my instinctive personality and allows in coming up with appropriate long-
term decisions. However, the instinctive personality could result in making rush decision
making, which could lead to failure.
However, using logic, intuition and the balanced decision-making method allows one
to come up with solutions for different situations. The situations depend on the matter at
hand, time and knowledge levels of the decision makers. Therefore, before making a
conclusion, the three methods require consideration to select the best alternative.
