1 Introduction
The purpose of this report is to educate the reader about the details about the management
concepts prevailing in the business environment. The report is in continuation with the memo
discussed before that explains the management issues prevailing in the Ford Motor Company.
The report includes elaboration of the management concepts discussed in the memo along with
the analysis of such management issues and the reason of their prevalence in the business
environment. Recommendations are also provided to eliminate such issues from the Ford Motors
business environment. Ford Motors is an automobile organization that is present in American
multinational automaker industry. The company was inaugurated in the year 1903 and is
headquartered in Michigan. The organization was formed by Henry Ford who aimed to sell
automobile and commercial vehicles in the external international environment (Miller 2015).
Ford motors constantly aim to increase the manufacturing quantity of the production, in response
to which they aim to change several aspects of the business process as well. More details about
the change are discussed below:
2 Analysis of Management Issues
2.1 Lack of Expertise: the fact should be noted that the company Ford Motors is unable to
sustain the competitive advantage in the business environment because it does not have
adequate expertise who can manage change for them. The lack of expertise and qualified
human resource makes it difficult for the organization to actively implement the change
management program in the business environment (Pearson 2016). Resulting in which, it
should be noted that as the organization faces difficulty in implementing changes in the
business due to which, the productivity of the operations and other departments of the
company reduces. Further, it should also be noted that the employees of the company
Ford Motors are not trained in an appropriate manner due to which they face difficulty in
adopting change in the business environment (Rocco 2017). Change is the only constant
feature present in the environment that keeps a business in motion, and if the employees
will not adopt such change then the business will certainly fail to compete in the external
environment. Lack of expertise also makes it difficult for the management to take wise
