efficient and customer-oriented?
Answer:-
UPS is the world's leading ground and air package-distribution business, founded in 1907
in a closet-sized basement office. IT system considerably helps this organization. This
organization is now griping its expertise period, which manages its overall distribution network
to cope with supply chain and logistics management for other businesses (Laudon & Laudon,
2020). With the help of the Information system, this organization also aided Candle Science,
which recognizes the ideal location for an innovative warehouse for its West Coast clients. It
formed a UPS Supply Chain Explanations division that delivers a comprehensive package of
standardized facilities to contributing businesses at a fraction of what it would charge to
construct their systems and infrastructure.
These facilities contain supply chain management and design, freight progressing,
customs brokerage, and mail services, multimodal transference, and monetary services, in
addition to logistics facilities (Laudon & Laudon, 2020). Information systems permit this
business to raise their income or reduce their budgets by delivering evidence that supports
managers make a better judgment.

What would happen if the automated package tracking system was not available?

Answer:-
If the organization's tracking systems were not accessible, they would not have the viable
benefit they have now (Laudon & Laudon, 2020). With other frontrunners in small parcel
distribution like DHL or FedEx, their actions would be missing in comparison. Loyal clients
would shift to something quicker, more active, and inexpensive. If this incident is occurring, then
the image of UPS would befall quickly.

Discuss how globalization has "flattened" the world?
Answer:-
These Organizations are trying to develop more efficient and competitive by digitally
empowering their core corporate procedures and developing into digital businesses (Laudon &
Laudon, 2020). The Internet has inspired globalization by intensely decreasing the budgets of
manufacturing, purchasing, and marketing goods on an international scale. Modern information
system developments include developing mobile digital platforms like cloud computing and big
data. So it is proved that information systems are supporting the globalization which has
compressed the world.
