2MANAGEMENT
TASK A
There are many incidents that have to take place in the course of life. Among them, some
incidents are there that have actually left a mark on my life. I can say that these experiences have
been very useful for overcoming my errors. It is through these series of experiences that helped
me to know about the pros and cons that are present within my characteristic. This incident
happened when I was doing an internship with an organization. I was working as the assistant
team leader in one of the pharmacy companies. The company knew about some errors that might
crop up in the near future. The issue was regarding a headache pill that was produced by the
company. The medicine had one particular chemical that was very strong and could likely cause
skin infections among the patients who are not resistant to it.
P-PLANNING
The first important step that must be done in this scenario is doing an in-depth
environmental scanning. I wanted to do in-depth research of the entire work that is going on in
each and every department. I made sure that the data collection and market analysts are being
able to extract sufficient amount of data that will help the company to know about the reputation
of the other chemist shop in the market (Lukovic 2015). I also made sure that the data analysts
are collecting the information regarding the same or the similar kind of anti-headache pills that
are being produced by the competitor firms.
Organizing
I also made sure that the entire workload of the organization is being allocated among the
employees in a proper manner. The workload must not overburden any of the departments in
particular. This is because the job designs have to be done properly so that the employees are not

overburdened and are being able to meet with the expectations (van Eijk et al. 2018). Thus, I
made sure that each and every department has some fresher along with some experienced or
senior people. This will help in making sure that the work of producing the medicine is taking
place in a properly organized and well-defined manner.
Leading
I realized that one of the best ways in which the issue can be solved in using the proactive
measure in place of the reactive measure. The company has to improve not only in the quality
and the quantity of the product but also on the ways of their customer handling. The team leader
and also the entire organization as a whole must make sure that they are calling off their product
rather than waiting for the customers to come and lodge their complaints.
It is the duty of the manager to lead the organization correctly and instill the correct
values within their employees. Using the proactive approach will instill the good and the helpful
values within the employees and they will be able to make sure that from the next time they are
paying more attention towards the production of the goods.
Controlling
Controlling over here refers to the ways in which the managers are trying to lead the
work-related activities rather than controlling the workers. The communication system must be
properly imitated within the organization (Heding, Knudtzen and Bjerre 2015). The leaders and
the managers must be very transparent and clear while talking about the values that are to be
followed within the organization (Morgeson, Mitchell and Liu 2015). They must be installing
