Introduction
In the modern world, maintaining mobility in every aspect of life can be considered as a
scenario that can help in addressing difficult issues. According to Wehner et al. (2016), the
application of systems thinking, strategy design and exponential thinking can be taken into
consideration for the development of mobility. The focus of the assignment is to identify four
such scenarios that can help in the development of mobility. The aim is to understand the future
development related to mobility so that consideration of the future can be taken into account. The
assignment also describes the concepts that help in the development of the scenarios.
Concept of strategy design
Strategic design is a concept that can be associated with the application related to
undertake designs that are more oriented for the future. According to Noe et al. (2017), the
concept is generally developed to increase the innovative and creative practise of an organisation
so that competitive qualities can be taken into account. The foundation of the concept can be
associated with the internal and external trends that drive an organisation to gain success.
Therefore, it can be said that strategy design can be used for the development of equipments that
can indicate a futuristic goal of an organisation.
One such example that can be provided of the application of strategy design is the
manner in which flying robot drivers are used for the delivery of food. Such creative thinking
usually drives changes in a society as well as the creative mind set of people working in an
organisation. Hence, it can be said that the strategy design can be an used as a proper example
for understanding the transition to changed mobility.

Concept of systems thinking
The concept of systems thinking can be associated with the interdisciplinary study of
systems. As stated by Rosemann and vom Brocke (2015) the manner in which diverse ideas in
business are implemented is usually credited to the application of systems thinking. Hence, it can
be said that systems thinking is an important part for the development of the future of the
business in which case it provides an analysis of the relationship that systems have with the
environment.
In this regard, it can be said that the development of futuristic technologies can be
considered as a part of the systems thinking process that helps in the development of equipments
as well as the society. One of the important characteristic of systems thinking is that it can be
applied broadly on the development of concepts and principles in the system (Arnold & Wade,
2015). The domain of knowledge applicable can help in the development of technologies that
can be associated with the development of mobility in the future. Along with this tragic incidents
such as that of the Chinese mining incident can be avoided with the application of systems
thinking.
Concept of exponential technologies
Exponential technology possesses the ability to double the capability and performance
that an organisation may have. However, Haines (2016) stated that it can be considered as a flip
side mainly because of the fact that it may half the cost in the each of the periods of its
application. Computers can be considered as prime examples of exponential technology as the
device have managed to double itself in every month. Another example that can be considered is
of the drones that have been in effect for years in the business.

The recent doubling of the drones can be associated with the fact that it can be used for
the delivery of food. At the same time, Williams et al. (2017) stated that use of social media such
as Facebook have doubled the application of exponential technology among the organisations.
One of the advantages that exponential technology provides is the fact that the price of the
technology makes it possible to incorporate it in any business problems in the modern world.
Description of four scenarios
In order to create a more plausible future it is necessary to take consideration certain
scenario that can help in the development of the mobility. These scenarios cover every aspect of
business and society and can have significant impact after the development of system of ideas
and identifying the effectiveness of global conditions.

MANAGEMENT
Scenario 1
One of the scenarios that can be associated with the Growth stage is the fact that flying
robots can be used for the delivery of food. As reported, flying robots has been involved in the
development of tacos (Kotaku.com, 2019). The incident occurred in Japan in which a group of
young people had been involved in the development and delivery of tacos. However, Alier and
Casany (2017) stated that the system may not have a long-term impact on the society as only one
item can be delivered by one robotic machine.
This can increase the cost of services along with the time and may provide organisations
with disadvantage in the business. Despite the drawback, the application of systems thinking can
help in proper and efficient development of the robotics so that every food delivery organisation
can use the technology. Therefore, it can be said that within 2039, the delivery of food can with
the help of robotics can be implemented which may enhance the opportunities of mobility in the
business (Noe et al., 2017). Hence, the scenario can be considered as steady for the development
of mobility.
Scenario 2
The constrained scenario can be identified by the fact that children are no longer
interested in reading from picture books. It has been evidenced that modern children find books
consisting of pictures to be non-entertainment (Nytimes.com, 2019). Books stores have identified
the unpopular characteristic of the picture books by the reactions provided by the children.
Wehner et al. (2016) pointed out that the reason for such unpopularity is mainly because of the
force provided by the parents.

In the modern world, parents provide children with heavy language books for the
development of knowledge. In this regard, it can be said that the development of future mobility
with such a mentality can be considered as negative. This is mainly because visual aid of an
object needs to be provided to the children so that they can innovate products based on the
figures. However, due to the restrictions of the parents the situation can be considered as volatile.
Scenario 3
The collapse scenario can be considered based on incidents that deem tragic for people.
In this regard, an example can be provided about incident in the Chinese mine explosion. Reports
have provided evidences that the explosion caused deaths 26 people while 11 people were
trapped inside (Nbcnews.com, 2019). The incident occurred in Beijing, which is considered as
the technical hub in the country. Such incidents bring to the light about the safety protocols that
the miners need to practise.
In this regard, the application of the systems thinking can be considered that ensure the
safety practise for the miners. The incident can be related to the closed or blocked characteristic
in the future development of a society. As stated by Haines (2016) the illegal running of the coal
mines contribute towards the incidents that lead to the blast which in turn can hinder the mobility
progress in the world.
Scenario 4
The fourth scenario can be described as the most open or preamble for the development
of systems thinking and mobility in a society. The transformation scenario can be associated with

platform groups can help in the development of a more technical aspect in the business scenario
(Briansolis.com, 2019).
The fact that new features such as Facebook group and interaction with various people all
across the world can be considered as a suitable platform provide the openness concept for the
development and transformation of the media. As stated by Combes et al. (2017) it can also be
associated with development of exponential technology in which Facebook, having managed to
double its value have opened up the option of developing mobility in the society.
Conclusion
Therefore, it can be concluded for the development of future it is necessary that every
aspect related to innovation be considered for the success of organisations. The manner in which
mobility in the futuristic technology can be maintained is associated with the development of
society and the manner in which it is accepted in the society. The scenarios described provide an
idea about the application of future technologies mainly because it provides an understanding of
the concepts that can be associated with maintaining the nature of business. In this regard, it can
be said that for an organisation or society to gain success the analysis of the scenarios need to be
undertaken so that the benefits it causes may be understood. At the same time, tragic incidents
can be kept under check with the proper application of the futuristic technologies.
