Regulatory and Legislative Framework
The focus of this assessment is on the BBQ Fun nature of operations. This is involved in
in the business that deals under manufacturing of products that has to be sold in the market.
BBQ Fun is restructuring the business structure so that it can improve the productivity and
efficiency of its business operations (Ojha, Gianiodis and Manuj 2013). This can help with
enhance their revenue generation with a proper management of the company. The BBQ Fun’s
management team is on the way of launching E-Commerce system in the operations to
enhance the profit and revenue of the business. Therefore, it is necessary to consider the
aspect of legal and regulatory framework prior to entering in new operation like online
activities. Cybercrime is one of the important provision that needs to adopt by the business
and include measures related to protection of data and transactions as a security measure.
Policies and Procedures of Operational Plan
The business policies and procedures of the business needs to be universally applicable
and simple to understand to all the employees. The business have to consider quality and cost
reduction approach as per the business model for increasing the profit (Lacity and Willcocks
2013). The business would to be include a feedback system so that the customer’s complaints
and queries can addressed. This helps in maintaining transparency and ensuring a better
service to the customer.
Role of Operational Plan
The business required to formulate an effective operational plan that can results in setting
an appropriate goals and target to achieve such. The business operational plan focused on
setting a scale for the online operations that would be accepted by the business. Further, it
also state a period of time within which Ecommerce has to perform.

Formulation of Operational Plan
The operational plan formulated by the business aims to create the E-commerce system
and for a proper support provided to the e-commerce needed a physical as well as human
resource (Snedaker 2013). The aim of the operational plan prepared by the business is to
provide an effective customer service and a feedback system.
Resource Requirement
Any business required an appropriate physical as well as human resource so that they can
implement their strategy properly. BBQ Fun required some resource to implement their e-
commerce strategy that has stated below:
o Human Resource Management: The business requires an effective staffs and skilled
technicians that can properly manage the online system. The sales manager as well as
human resource manager overlook the process of hiring. The technicians plays an
effective role in the maintenance of business online system.
o Physical Resource Management: On the other hand, business requires physical
human resource like delivery truck, system software and forklifts that has included in
the assets list. It directly supports the process of operation of the business. The drivers
help in operating the delivery trucks that would concerned to delivery process of
online sales.
