1. Introduction:
Leadership is considered as a significant concept in the field of business industry without
which employees do not get motivation in performing well towards the services. In order to
achieve the success of business the organizational experts have to focus on performance level of
the employees (Busse, Aboneh & Tefera, 2014). The role of a responsible leader is to motivate
the employees in achieving their targets for meeting organizational aims and objectives
(Rosenzweig, 2014). This very specific study is all about evaluating my self-leadership skill. In
order to survive within a workplace I need to have proper leadership skill to motivate the
employees working under me.
In this very specific study, I have provided self-evaluation about the strengths and
weaknesses of my leadership skills and qualities. After identifying my weaknesses, I have made
a personal development plan in quest of rectifying the areas of improvement. I as a business
leader am competent enough in communicating with the people of various cultural backgrounds
and attitudes. At the same time, I have observed that communication sometimes becomes a major
issue for me as I do not have multilingual competency. In order to deal with the people of
various cultural backgrounds I need to be flexible in enhancing my communication skill.
However, this very specific study has focused to make detailed overview on how effective
leadership skill can help in achieving organisational success.

While evaluating my professional skills I have observed that I have enough leadership
quality to direct my employees towards reaching the business goals. I can motivate the
employees at the workplace by providing an agile work environment. At the same time, it is
undeniable that some of the major qualities I need to develop which can help in enhancing my
professional competency level. As a leader, I do not have effective communication skill, which
enables me to deal with specific number of employees at the workplace. A business organization
is constituted with the people of various cultural and religious backgrounds (Paustian-Underdahl,
Walker & Woehr, 2014). As a result, I need to gain multilingual competency with the help of
which I can easily communicate with all the team members associated with my project. On the
other hand, I do not have enough non-verbal communication skill that can encourage me in using
my body language or written communication skill in order to interact with my team members.
Apart from communication skill, I have observed that my technological skill is
comparatively low which is becoming a major barrier in enhancing my professional career as a
leader. In order to lead a team I have to measure all the performance data of my team members
along with evaluating the financial database. Due to the lack of technological skill, I have to face
immense challenges in keeping a proper database, which reflects immensely in customer
satisfaction. Therefore, with the emergence of technology I need to develop my technological
skill and capability as well so that I can control the overall database of my team.

In this very specific part, I would like to make in-depth analysis about my current
professional skill, which would reflect major positive impact on my overall competency. As a
