Recommendations
Marriott is required to manage risk by keeping a constant check on the various departments
so that business can be continued effectively. The effective team should be implemented in
the organization to deal with the disasters. The disaster recovery should be made on an urgent
basis. The cybersecurity is required to be entrenched into the culture of the hotel from entry-
level positions to the senior level. It is because hackers can access the information from any
level. Moreover, the organization can welcome the need for the regular inspections along
with the fire compliance. The fire inspections assist hotels to enhance its fire safety plans.
The disaster recovery plan can even save the insurance premiums. The technology can also
be updated by the Marriott for the overall hotel security. The visible security measures can
also be welcomed by the hotel.
Conclusion
Marriott is successfully leading its operations. The hotel is able to manage risks by its feature
of disaster recovery. The internet and emails are an effective tools in enhancing hotel
security. Still, the hotel is required to contribute more in order to manage risks for the disaster
recovery. Marriott can back up the data and alternate communication channels inside and
outside the organization. The innovative technologies are also required to be utilized by the
Marriott to maintain the hotel security.
