Introduction
Classroom is place where students learn new concepts. In classroom ample of students
study together and learn from each-other. Here, students also get the opportunity to learn from
the skills & knowledge of each-other. Classroom dynamic refer to the interaction of students and
teachers. The main aim of classroom dynamics is to set such an environment where students feel
comfortable while learning. Also, it aims to set such an environment where students can easily
interact with teachers and other fellows. There are a lot of ways to create a dynamic classroom.
Through classroom meetings, interaction, it is possible to maintain dynamic environment
amongst the student (Farmer and et. al., 2018). The present study is about different concept of
classroom dynamics. It will cover characteristics of group environment, strategies to manage
group dynamics, ways to manage barriers to individual learning. Further, impact of class
dynamics on learning, use of motivational approaches for enhancing group engagement,
behavior management solutions have also been discussed in the following report. Additionally,
this will include ways to minimize risks related to the security, health, well-being of learners in
groups and ways to maintain records as per legislator procedure of organization. At end, tools to
assess dynamics of classroom with use of peer observation, student feedback and recording have
also been discussed in the following study.
TASK 1
1.1 Characteristics of group environment that facilitate learning & development
Group refers collection of two and more people who come together for the
accomplishment of a particular purpose. In other words, it can be understood as a setting where
two or more people interact with each-other so that they can resolve the organizational issue.
During group interaction, people also get chance to learn from each-other. In group, people
having different skills set, capabilities interact with each other which further facilitate the
learning. In this context characteristics of group dynamics are mentioned below:
Shared purpose: In group environment each & every person has a particular purpose.
Basically, people formulate a group together when they have similar purpose (Lee, 2018).
During group formulation, individuals having same goals & objectives come together so that

they can work towards shared goals. Here, they all put efforts for the attainment of pre-defined
goals which further facilitate learning & development among group members.
Trust and openness: It is the most significant characteristic of group environment. Here,
each & every member trusts each other. Also, they are open enough to put their point of view
during discussion. Trust strengthen the relationship of group members and also facilitate further
learning so that they can grow in future.
Diversity and inclusion: Generally, the people of diversify background come together to
structure a group. Each individual has different skills, knowledge (Peurach Cohen and Spillane,
2019). Here, group members get opportunity to learn different concepts while working in a
dynamic group. It facilitates learning & development among the group members in an efficient
manner.
Willingness to correct mistakes: During group working several people work together.
Therefore, it is easy to identify the mistakes of each-other. This develops willingness among
individuals to correct their mistakes and further improve their learning skills.
1.2 Strategies to manage group dynamics
Group dynamics is about behavior, attitude of a group. Basically, it shows the way in
which people of a group interact with each-other. In case of positive dynamics, group work well.
It is easy to attain pre-defined goals by having positive group dynamics. In addition to this,
people of dynamic team are more creative than the members of an average group. In this context
strategies to manage group dynamics are mentioned below:
Establish norms of full participation: Under this, a particular norm has been set
wherein all the team members need to participate fully in group activities. They are required to
contribute in the success of group with their utmost potential. This will help in future growth of
group members in a profound way (Keller-Schneider, Zhong and Yeung, 2020).
Self-reflection: Self reflection is a process of analyzing own performance. Here, the
individuals assess own performance so that they can make necessary improvements in future
period of time. Self reflection allows individuals to assess their current performance in order to
enhance the performance in longer run.

Critical analysis: This is also one of the most effective strategies of managing group
dynamics. In this, every team member is required to critically analyze own skills. For this
purpose, they need to perform self-assessment based on different parameters in order to make
improvement in near future.
Student-student interaction: While studying in a classroom together, it is imperative
that students also interact with each-other. This is one of the most effective ways to manage
group dynamics. This interaction is useful in creating an effective learning & development
environment in significant manner (Curtis-Boles, Chupina and Okubo, 2020).
1.3 How to involve learners in their own learning & develop while working in groups
Students are likely to take risk and explore new things. When they get to know that
teacher believe in them, they get excited & perform the assign work efficiently. For this purpose,
teachers can make estimation and increase the attention of students by simply asking them to do
something different. It is analyzed that students are not likely to learn something merely by
sitting in the classroom or listening their teachers. For learning students successfully, it is
imperative to engage them. For this purpose, ample of ways can be used to enhance the
engagement of the students in the overall learning process. To engage students in own learning &
development the following steps can be followed:
Organize classroom discussion: To engage students, it is imperative to organize
classroom activities. These activities can be group discussion, presentation, games and more. It
will not only engage the students but also improve their learning (Walczak, 2020).
Integrate modern technology: Now, teachers can use modern & updated technology to
improve the learning experience of students. Here, they need to use mobile, laptop, internet,
virtual platforms and other ways to keep the students engage in learning process.
Foster competition among students: Competition is one of the best ways of enhancing
the engagement. While competing with each-other, students learn ample of new concepts which
will contribute in their career growth in future period of time.

1.4) Explain the ways to manage barriers to individual learning in groups
During learning process, students are likely to encounter several barriers. Here,
barriers are the issues which prevent students from learning or accessing new concepts. It makes
hard for them to join the classroom and concentrate in the study. General barriers faced by the
individuals are given below:
Presentation problem: Sometimes students are clear about their idea, concept but they
hesitate to present it. This is one of the common barrier which prevent students to demonstrate
their skills and capabilities to others.
Learners do not get appropriate support: For maintaining consistency in learning, it is
required to have necessary support. If learners do not get appropriate support, it directly affects
their learning process profoundly and create barrier in the overall learning process (Finne,
Roland and Svartdal, 2018).
These barriers can be easily managed by adopting the following ways:
Appropriate learning material: There is requirement to use efficient study material as
per need of individual learners. This will allow the individuals to overcome with learning
barriers while studying in group.
Equal and fair assessment: Every individual needs to assess in fair manner. It
motivates them to put their best while learning and also eradicate the possible barriers in
significant manner.
Environment: There should be silence and peace in the classroom environment so that
learners can learn easily.
Improving communication skills: Teachers are required to maintain regular &
consistent communication with the students to deal with the learning barriers.

2.1) Impact of class dynamics on learning
In class dynamics students & teachers interact with each other. The main rationale behind
classroom dynamics is to find effective ways to set positive environment within classroom. The
possible impact of class dynamic on learning are mentioned below:
Building confidence: Through classroom dynamics, students get a positive and
comfortable environment. It boosts their confidence and makes them enable to learn new concept
in an efficient manner (Yep and Lescure, 2019).
Engaging and motivating: It is the most significant impact of classroom dynamics. It
helps in improving the engagement of students in the overall learning functions. Also, it
motivates students to learn different concepts for future growth.
Facilitate skill & knowledge development: Class room dynamic is helpful in
facilitating new skills and knowledge among students so that they can grow in the future career.
This helps learners to learn new skills to grow in the career in the future period of time.
Agreeing and achieving goals: It is analyzed that classroom dynamic is significant in
terms of attaining the pre-defined goals. By this way, the learners can easily attain stipulated
goals within pre-defined period of time (Peurach, Penuel and Russell, 2018).
2.2 how to facilitate learning and collaboration between group members
Colloboration learning is often used in the educational setting so that individuals can
learn while working together. Here, group of two and more people work together in order to
resolve a particular issue or solve a problem. In other words, collaborative learning is about
involving the individuals together in terms of a small group so that each & every person can
participate. Here, learners are likely to work on individual task by considering the success of
entire group. In this context, the ways to facilitate collaborative learning between group members
are mentioned below:
Use of listening skills: To facilitate collaborative learning, it is imperative to use
listening skills. Here, the listening skills of individuals need to be effective so that they can grasp
the concept easily and revert accordingly (Pinner and Ushioda, 2020).

Observation: Observation is one of the most significant ways to develop collaborative
learning between group members. In this context, the individuals are required to observe the
activities of peers and teachers. Further, they need to revert accordingly.
Application of learning: The concept which has been learned during the classroom
session needs to implement in the practical context. It facilitates collaborative learning between
group members in significant manner.
Evolution and development of inclusive learning: In case of inclusive learning two and
more people learn together. Through inclusive learning, it is possible to facilitate collaboration
among students so that they can easily grow & succeed in the career.
2.3 Use of motivational approaches to engage group learning
Motivational approaches play a crucial role in improving the engagement of group
members during the learning process. In this regard, ways to engage as well as motivate learners
are given underneath:
Set clear learning goals: To keep the learners motivated, it is important to set clear
goals. Here, goals are likely to motivate the individuals to attain something. For this purpose,
they put consistent efforts with an aim to accomplish the set learning goals in timely manner
(Nicholls, 2018).
Creative course content: If students only go through with theoretical content, they get
bored after a particular period of time. It is required to include images and other visual content in
the study material in order to keep the interest of students alive. Here, creative course content not
only keep the students engage but also motivate them to learn more and more.
Reward learners for engagement: Rewards are considered as one of the best ways to
motivate a person. In this regard, teachers can also reward the students for their consistent
engagement. They can reward them with extra marks, appreciation, prize and more.
Open communication channels: For engaging and motivating the individual, it is
imperative to maintain effective communication. In this context, open communication channels
need to be use by the teachers to maintain proper interaction with students.

2.4 Behavior management solution used in the class
Behavior management is about understanding the behavior of students in order to know
their reactions in a particular condition. Understanding behavior of individual is important to
formulate suitable strategies for future betterment. Certain models are implemented for this
purpose which are elaborated below:
Biological: Students are likely to interact with environmental influences and this
interaction put a profound impact on their behavior. As per one of the research, it is found that
both nature as well as nurture contribute in development of a human being (Hsieh, 2017). Hence,
it is imperative to maintain positive environment to promote appropriate behavior.
Behavioral: It is possible to mold the behavior by conditioning which can be of two
types classical and operant conditioning. As per classical conditioning behavior has direct
connection with stimulus while operant conditioning is connected with repeating behavior such
as rewarding a person for positive behavior.
Cognitive: This approach is helpful in making judgments and allows a person to have a
particular perception about their surroundings. Basically the behavior of a person is influenced
by thinking.
Systematic: This approach is based on targeting the behavior of individual according to a
particular system. These system can be their family, school, friends, community and more.
Basically, the behavior of a person can not be similar at different systems. Such as, they cannot
repeat their behavior with family in their school.

3.1 How to support right of learners in relation to equality, diversity as well as inclusion
It is the right of every learner to get equal and fair environment where they can study
without any fear. Equality and diversity is about accepting as well as promoting the differences
in an efficient manner. It is about providing equal opportunities to all the individuals regardless
their age, gender, occupation, income and other components. To support equality and diversity
among learners, the following ways can be followed:

Provide person centered care: To maintain equal and diversify environment, it is
required to provide person centered care to each and every person. It helps in keeping them
engage in the overall learning process to get better outcomes in future (Olivares-Rodríguez,
Guenaga and Garaizar, 2018).
Treat all individuals in unique way: All individuals are not same thus, there is
requirement to treat all the individuals in different way. For this purpose, teachers need to have
familiarity with culture, values of learners so that they can behave accordingly.
Create discrimination free environment: In classroom, ample of students study together. Here,
teachers need to treat all the students equally. They are required to maintain such as environment
which is free from discrimination and treat all the learners in equal manner.
Promote equality: To support learning, teachers need to promote equality. In this regard,
they need to provide equal opportunities of growth, learning, development to all the students.
Here, they need to avoid the discrimination based on sex, occupation, social class, income level
and more. This will help in creating equal, diversify as well as inclusive environment within
classroom.
3.2) Ways to minimize risks related to security, safety, health and well being of learners in
groups
To minimize risk related to security, health and well-being, several legislations have been
formulated by the UK government. These laws are helpful in maintain an equal, safe and
diversify environment in educational setting. In this regard, the major legislations are mentioned
below:
Equality Act 2010: According to this act, all the human beings have right to treated
equally. There should be no discrimination among the individuals based on gender, occupation,
social class and more (Kumar, Bevell and Osman, 2020).
General Data protection regulation 2018: To ensure the safety and security of
learners, this act has been formulated. This act was formulated in replacement of data protection
act. The main aim of respective law is to protect the general information of citizens in an
efficient manner.

Health and safety act, 1974: This act is useful to ensure safety of learners within
learning environment. By implementing the respective act, it is possible to minimize the risk
related to health and safety within classroom.
Welfare policy: This policy is related with the overall welfare of the students. The main
aim of preparing such policy is to mitigate threat related to safety, security and well-being of
students.
3.3) How to maintain confidentiality in context of group information
A group comprises several numbers of people. There is requirement to keep the
information confidential and safe in order to avoid any future issues. The ways to keep the
information confidential are mentioned below:
Safe storage of reports: To keep the information safe, there is requirement to storage the
reports in safe & secure manner. In present time, there are numerous digital as well as cloud
based ways to keep the information safely. In addition, there is requirement to set strong
password so that unauthorized people cannot access the information (Nagro, Fraser and Hooks,
2019).
Used only for specified purpose: The information needs to be used for a particular
purpose. While working in groups, every member get access of wide range of information.
However, this information needs to be utilized for particular purpose as per requirement.
Kept for identified amount of time: To maintain the confidentiality, the information
should keep for a particular period of time. If information is kept for longer run, it might prove
harmful as the unauthorized people might get access of such information.
Safe disposal of records: The records need to discard in a systematic way. Unsafe
discard of reports might prove dangerous in the future period of time.
3.4) How to maintain records as per legislator & organizational procedure
Effective record keeping might safe an organization from future challenges. Also, it can
safeguard the entity from legal challenges which might occur in the future period of time. Along
with this, it also protects the rights of stakeholders in significant manner. Without having proper

records, the company and its stakeholders both might at risk (Ashman and Conway, 2017). There
is requirement to follow proper legislations and procedure so that the records can be kept safely.
Here, general data protection act has been formulated in the year of 2018 so that the
personal information of the individuals can be maintained safely. This act is applicable at each &
every organization. It includes the basic rules & regulations so that the information of learners
can be maintained in a secure way. By following the necessary legislative requirements and
organizational procedure, it is easy to maintain the records in safe and secure manner.
TASK 4
4.1 Tools to assess classroom dynamics
Classroom dynamics is about creating such an environment within classroom where
students and teacher can interact with each-other effectively. Additionally, class room dynamics
refers to offer a comfortable environment to the students where they feel safe and secure while
studying. In other words, classroom dynamics is related with interrelation of teacher and
students. Necessary tools to assess dynamics of classroom are mentioned below:
Identify learning needs: At this, there is requirement to identify the learning needs of
individuals so that appropriate strategies can be formulated accordingly. In this, teachers are
required to assess learning needs of students so that they can take further steps accordingly.
Plan and design learning: After identifying the learning needs, the next step is to plan
and design the learning. For this purpose, it is important to design the course and content
accordingly so that learners can easily grasp the concept. In the course content, all the necessary
information needs to be included which will help the learner to grow in the future period of time
(Han and Hiver, 2018).
Deliver learning: After planning and designing, the next step is to deliver the learning.
There are several ways of delivering the learning. It can be either delivered through physical
interaction or digital ways. Nowadays, virtual platforms and other such tools can also be utilized
to deliver the content to the students. This makes the learning more interactive and engaging.

Diverse learning: There are ample of learning resources such as books, computer, laptop
instruments and more. Learning should be not restricted upto a particular filed rather it needs to
be diversified for the overall growth of learner.
Evaluate learning outcomes: In this, there is requirement to evaluate the outcomes of
learning with an aim to make necessary improvements in the future period of time. Here,
necessary measures need to set to evaluate the performance of students in timely manner.
Analyze needs: This is the last step wherein needs of learners need to analyze constantly
so that necessary improvements can be done as per requirement (Wang and et. al., 2020). At this
stage, there is requirement to take necessary corrective actions for future betterment & growth of
the students.
4.2) How to use peer observation, feedback of students and recordings
Peer observation refers to the observation by an another person who is working at the
same level. When a person receives suggestion from the other individual working at the same
level, it helps in making necessary improvements. In context of education, peer observation is
highly important as it provided scope to make enhancement for future betterment. A teacher can
utilize critiques receive from peer observation for making further improvements.
Use of learning needs analysis: Through peer observation, feedback of students, it is
possible to identify learning needs. With this teacher can identify the area of improvement with
an aim to enhance their future performance.
Training need analysis: Observation received by peers, student feedbacks make the
teachers enable to identify their training needs to ensure future development in an efficient
manner (Kwok, 2019). By attending necessary training programs, one can easily improve own
performance to ensure career growth in upcoming years.
Questionnaire: To receive the view point of peers, feedbacks of students, a teacher can
create a questionnaire. This questionnaire will include the necessary set of questions which will
prove helpful in making further improvements.
Feedback: Feedbacks are important to assess the current performance. A teacher can
receive feedback from students, peers and more with an aim to create significant strategies to

make further enhancements. It is found that feedback is one of the most effective ways to make
future improvements. The results of feedback can be used to make efficient strategies for
improving future performance.
Monitoring: Here, monitoring is also important to take necessary corrective actions for
future betterment. By receiving peer observation, feedback of students, teachers can easily
monitor their performance constantly (Skovholt, 2018). Through monitoring, it is possible to
take necessary corrective actions so that improvements can be done in longer run.
Programe review and improvement: To enhance the performance, ample of programs
are prepared. These programs put a profound influence on the performance of teachers. After
preparing the program, there is requirement to review such programs regularly. After receiving
peer observation, student feedbacks and recordings, teachers need to review the programs with
an aim to facilitate further improvements efficiently.
Employer contact: After getting the outcomes of peer observation, student feedbacks,
recordings, the next step is to contact the employer. This is helpful in improving the position
within the organization.

Conclusion
Out of the above-mentioned information, it is analyzed that classroom is a place where
students learn new concepts to ensure their growth in future. Students belong from diversify
backgrounds interact with each other in classroom setting. There is a concept of classroom
dynamics that is related with interaction of teacher and students. It is about setting such an
environment where students can easily interact with teachers and other fellows. There are a lot of
ways to create a dynamic classroom. Through classroom meetings, interaction, it is possible to
maintain dynamic environment amongst the student. There is discussion regarding characteristics
of group environment, strategies to manage group dynamic and more. Further barriers of
learning can be managed by using suitable learning material, treating each students in equal
manner. It is analyzed that collaborative in learning can be facilitate through listening skills,
observation, communication and more. Further, it is monitored that there are several tools to
assess the classroom dynamics and peer observation, feedback of students can be used for future
improvements in performance.
