INTRODUCTION
Classroom dynamics may be referred as the interaction between teachers and students in a
classroom community (Bion, 2018). The core aim for group dynamics is to create foster
environment in which students can feel comfortable and learning becomes easy for them. It helps
in cresting a healthy relationship between teacher and students. It keeps engagement of every
students in classrooms. This can be developed through a structured and systematic plan. It is
needed to provide as foster environment so that they can be motivated and becomes easier to
work. It defines the way in which students interact with each other. This project report will
cover principles and practice of managing classroom dynamics. In addition to that it will cover
how to manage group learning environments. Further it will cover understanding to manage
learning in groups to comply with requirements. At last it will cover how to assess with
classroom dynamics.
TASK
It is important for teachers to understand teaching and learning process and along with that
formulate effective strategies in order to make use of skills and knowledge in a right way. It will
help students learning well.
Characteristics of group environment which facilitates learning and development
 Questions are more valued than answers – Good questions leads to learning and it is
important to give more weight age to questions rather than answers.
 Students can feel comfortable and safe while in group. They see classroom as a place
where they can share thoughts and opinions without having a fear of judgement.
 It helps in challenging studnets's potential in order to make them more productive. They
set high expectation and for that it is needed to have foster dynamic group environment in
which they can improve skills in a healthy way.
 It helps in setting up of standards and which is equal to all students.
 It facilitates in providing various opportunities which students can grab in order to make
them more effective learner. They can experience success by group dynamics.
 It also helps teachers in understanding the behaviour of students and provides with
meaningful experience.

 It helps in creating positive relationship among teachers and students by which they can
mutually understand each other problem.
By creating a positive environment starts with teacher's self reflection and continues with
planning in order to provide better implementation. It is s work in progress and it is needed to
have foster environment which encourage students rather than making disappointed. Positive
learning environment involves planning and thought. It is required to monitor each activity so
that effective strategies can be made and to meet changing needs of students (Kreeger, 2019). It
is important to find differences between class and students. By working together it helps in
boosting confidence and facilitates in boosting level of confidence. Collaboration helps in
showing ideas of individual which makes it more pordutive and efficient. By having a foster
environment, it helps in gaining knowledge and makes more efficient. It helps in improving
skills too as students are able to manage their time and tasks.
Importance of positive environment
 Flexibility -It is important that students should enjoy subjects and in which they have
keen interest in them. It helps in promoting positive learning environment. Students can
be more motivated and committed and apply themselves more readily to their studies. It
leads to better and more focused confident (Gupta, 2017)
 Sense of community – It enables in providing a student centred learning environment in
which teachers have high engagement with every member. It helps students in knowing
in which environment they feel safe. Small classes helps in promoting cooperation among
students by group study or work. It fosters a strong sense of shared values and purpose.
 Good rapport between student and teacher -It helps in maintaining a healthy relationship
among students and teachers. It provides with high level of engagement to excel in their
academics. It is needed to monitor academic progress and focus on weakness in order to
eliminate their weakness. It creates an intrinsic motivation so that they can work in an
effectively. By establishing healthy relationship among teachers and students helps in
creating foster environment in which students feel valuable part of group.
 Challenging curriculum – It helps students in improving overall skills of students and by
that they can understand concepts in a easier way. It is important to set standard targets
along with achievable which helps in imp0roving overall performance of learner. It
encourages and pushes students to work hard in order to attain personal and professional

goals. It motivates them to wok harder and takes best out of them. The curriculum
involves any challenges which helps in elevating overall performance of students.
Strategies to improve group dynamics
 Find areas to improve – It is the first step in creating positive team dynamics as to
identify the factors which creates friction within group. There can be multiple causes but
there are plenty of ways in order to better understand them. It can be done by observing
how team members interact with each other and who is good at one (Brown and Pehrson,
2019). It can also be done by conducting one to one meetings in order to get insights of
team issues and concerns.

 Solve problem when they arise -Whenever n issue arise, it is needed to solve issue
immediately when they arise. This will help creating harmony among students or it will
adversely impact on their performance. It affects the relationship among team member
and longer the conflict worse the relationship. By having conflict in team, it will affect
their performance and team could not perform in a better way (Haghani and et.al., 2019).
It is needed to provide them with a problem foe which they can openly share their
thoughts and opinions.
 Create a team chart -It is important to make a team chart which will help in organising
groups and gets clarity of roles and responsibilities. It helps in minimising conflict among
team members as they have clarity what role they have to perform. The main objective is
to avoid miscommunication and also helps in setting up of guidelines in order to resolve
any issue if arise.
 Foster culture -It is important to provide with foster work environment in order to make
comfortable team members so that they can work effectively. It helps in working
collaboratively with other peers so that they can improve their skills too. It facilitates in
providing and encouraging team members to share opinions and ideas without having any
fear.
 Encourage communication -it is important to have a voice in key decision in order to
make team member as a valuable part of team. Decision can be made effectively if it is
taken by consent of all participants. It helps in encouraging communication among team,
members. Try to make other team members a part in decision maker in order to get
unique and corrective ideas. It will help in maintaining healthy relationship among team
members.
 Keep observing team's dynamic – It is the last stage in which it is needed to keep an eye
on group dynamics in order to alter any strategy if needed. It may be possible that a
person's thinking and opinion might change overnight due to any reason. So it s important
to address minor issues before they become big ones as it is the key to maintaining team's
cohesion and in maximising overall productivity of team and team members.

Managing Barriers of group dynamics
 Resistance to change – Some people are not ready to make change and many people
hesitate about technology so it becomes challenging them to opt digitalization. They
thinks they are not tech geeks and unable to adapt technology (Wolins, 2017).
 Fear of failure -many people have fear of failure and thy overthink about situations. They
lives in imaginary world. They do not want to take risk and not have interest to learn new
skill and take advantage of wonderful opportunities. They have fear of failure and afraid
to choose different way which will take them towards success. So it is important to
overcome from those barriers in order to get success in life. Learning mistakes are
inevitable and by taking risk may lead to opt for new opportunity.
 Lack of focus -There are many distractions by which learner cannot focus on his studies.
It is a major barrier in learning and it is important to overcome this barrier in order to get
opportunities. Social media plays an important role in making learner distracted from
studies and makes him low productive person. So it is important to make focus on
studies and avoid distraction sin order to attain personal and professional goals
(Fellnhofer, Puumalainen and Sjögrén, 2017)
 Lack of previous knowledge -It is important to learn basics so that learner cannot face
any challenge while studying project or while working on a project. So it is needed to
have good command over basics.
 Lack of purpose -Many learner do not have purpose of life and project. They tend to be
useless and it is important to know that training and skills makes personal and
professional life easier. If learner have purpose to work then he will put extra efforts in
order to fulfil purpose or reason.
 Boredom -Training sessions are not fun for students and they feel boredom. The teaching
method should be entertaining and two way so that they do not feel boredom during
lectures.
Impact of group dynamics on learning
 Provides foster environment – Group dynamics helps in creating foster environment so
that students can perform better as they gets motivated and work with peak potential.

Foster environment contributes in making students comfortable and makes learning
process easier and faster (McManus Dryer and Henning, 2017).
 Makes members creative - It makes group member creative and innovative and can be
used in their project and personal life in order to solve any issue. By innovation they can
find solution in an unique way by having capability to think out of box. Creativity leads
to better understanding and makes students more productive. (Børte, Nesje and Lillejord,
2020).
 Establish healthy relationship – It helps in maintaining healthy relationship among
students and teacher and by that they can mutually understand each other. It plays an
important role by creating balance between relation between teachers and students.
Students become more responsive to problems and issues. So students should choose
subjects of their choice.
 Better understanding -It helps in creating better understanding between teachers and
students. By having better understanding, it leads to favourable environment in which
both teachers and students can feel comfortable (He and Yang, 2021)
How to facilitate collaboration and learning between group members
 Establishing group goals -It is needed to have effective collaborative learning in order to
maintain collaboration among team members along with individual accountability. It
helps group members on track of ambiguous purpose. Before starting of project, it is
needed to defines goals and objectives in order to get clarity what is to be done.
 Establish flexible group norms -It has been analysed that collaborative learning is
influenced by quality of interactions. Negotiation and interactivity are important element
of group learning (Ungar and et.al., 2018). Older students can make own norms but in
case of new students it is important to formulate effective and flexible norms in order to
make them comfortable. The norms should not be rigid and must be flexible.
 Build trust and promote open communication – It is needed to build trust among students
or they will not work in a team collaboratively. So it is important to build trust which
helps in influencing other team members and makes team more productive. Interpersonal

communication is must in team tow work effectively. It is essential to deal with
emotional issues immediately before moving forward.
 For larger task, create group roles -Decomposing a critical task makes it easier and saves
time too. Students should allocate different small task based on skills and knowledge.
 Create pre and post test – This technique helps in evalutaibg effectiveness of team
members as a group. It will helps in making strategies next time. Corrective measure can
be taken in case of negative indications.
Motivational approach to engage groups
 Set clear learning goals – Learners can perform better if they know what they have to do.
So it is important to set clear goals which helps in relating to engage group learners.
Light testing helps in understanding the gap between current skills and required skills. In
vesting more time leads in knowing unique needs of each learner (Hornby and Blackwell,
2018)
 Makes learning convenient – Motivation is necessary in learner and it helps in
understanding concepts and application of each skill. It is important to provide with easy
accessible resources in order to make the more comfortable. It may be videos, templates
and infographics so as to make and summarise procedure.
 Get creative with course content- Boredom makes learners disengaged. The course must
be creative so as to create interest among learner. By delivering fun content increases
team engagement. The content must be in form of short video, animation and
infographics.
 Reward learners for engagement -It is important to acknowledge efforts of learners that
they have put in team to make project more effective. By inspiring and motivating them
makes them feel valued.
Behaviour management solution
 Model ideal behaviour -It is needed to have a habit of demonstrating behaviour that
teachers must use while teaching in classrooms. They should use polite language as well
as maintain an eye contact. The mobile phones must be kept in pocket and not to interrupt

anyone while someone is speaking. The question or concerns must be raised in a
respectful manner so that other member do not feel awkward.
 Let students help establish concerns – It is important to make class room rules so that
they can get clarity what not to do in class. It helps in making them more aware about
rules that they have to follow.
 Document rules – It is needed to respect each and every student which helps in making
habit of getting respected.
Equality and Diversity
It may be referred as the idea of accepting ad promoting difference between people. It is
important to ensure that individuals must be treated in a right and fairly manner. They should be
treated fairly and equally and not matter their race, gender and disability Diversity is all about
recognising and respecting differences in order to make an all inclusive atmosphere. In case of
education, it is essential for both teachers and students or it may affect on individual's perception
and thinking. Th main aim is to create an environment which can thrive together and understand
individual characteristics makes them unique.
 Setting clear rules – School must formulate effective rules and regulations in order to
treat people in a right manner. It helps students in getting clarity how to treat other
students. In case of non compliance of these rules, punishment should be given. This
helps in creating foster environment in which students can be treated in right manner and
promotes equality.
 Challenging negative attitudes -The school management must keep an eye on behaviour
of students in order to ensure that no students is discriminated on the basis of caste and
religion or on race, gender and skills. The negative attitudes must not be tolerated.
 Treat staff and students fairly -The staff and students must be treated fairly and must not
on the basis of race and religion. This practice must be eliminated so as to provide
equality a school. By opting this strategy, individual feels themselves as a part of team
and school (Pattenden, 2018).

 Creating all inclusive culture -It is needed to create an all inclusive work environemnt in
which no individual feels inferior or ashamed based on skin colour and disability. It will
provide a platform on which they can openly share their opinions without any fear and
discrimination.
 Use of multi cultural themes -different students comes from different cities and they are
comfortable with their tradition and culture. So it is needed to provide them with
multicultural themes in order to make them comfortable at school. They can easily adapt
things by having own culture and also facilitates in knowing about other students about
different culture.
 Using variety of teaching methods -Teacher must use different approaches and different
teaching methods in order to deliver effective session. It makes easy for students and
learn in a different and unique way. By this it makes easy to understand complex
concepts in a easier way.
Steps in Students safety and well being
 Understand current physical needs and plan accordingly -When children sends their
children to school, they have minimum expectation that their children will return in a
good condition. It s important and analyse current physical needs in order to minimise
risk of any mishappening. The school management must ensure that proper arrangements
are made for safety for students or not, what can be mitigated. It is needed to address risk
and according to that policies and procedures are to be made.
 Make practices and policies a part of school culture -Good culture and environment and
policies reflects positive indication of school management. The policies are formulated in
keeping safety of students in view. It is needed to keep policies and procedures fresh.
 Have a vision for psychological well being of students - Schools needs to understand that
it is important to keep vision of students well being so that safety can be provided within
time.
Managing data confidentially
 Control access -It is important to keep data safe and secure and have limited control
access in order to keep it safe and secure. By having limited data control, only authorised
people have access which eliminates chance of data leak.

 Creates policies - It is one of most important factor which helps in managing data
confidentiality. It keeps the group members on track and restricts them to share
confidential information.
 Provide regular training -It helps in making team members aware about importance of
data and how it can effectively help in personal and professional development. Training
helps in maintaining confidentiality of information and thus reduces chance of
information leakage.
 Prohibition of mobile phones -In a meeting, all they mobile phones must be prohibited in
order to keep information safe and secure.
Maintaining of records accordance with legislations
 Prioritise security and privacy – It is important to keep data safe ad secure. They may use
either cloud computing or on premises setup in order to keep data more secure. On
premises helps in storing data within premises and prohibits unauthorised access fro
outside. It have tons of benefits and data is one of the most valuable element. Without
having security, it may lead to cyberattacks and data may be lost or steal. In case o
system failure, it may lead to loss of data.
 Record, track and monitor documents – Document mismanagement may lead to poor
record keeping. It becomes difficult to retrieve data. It is responsibility to keep both
physical and hybrid records in accordance with legislations.
 Destroy records at the end of lifecycle -It is important to destroy both physical and digital
records at the end of lifecycle.
Explain the tools that can be used to asses classroom dynamics
Tools can be used to asses the classroom dynamics is to evaluate the learnings of students. Give
them assessments is to analysing , collecting, observing and to check their performances will also
able to determine how they are doing in the classroom Assessment is a major component and an
active tool that helps the students to learn rapidly and also motivates students for doing more.
Learning should be the top priority for each and every students in the classroom they must
creates the clearing actions regarding to the learning results. Some tools are elaborated below
report:

 Observation- It is consider to a particular tool for observe the students by the activity
they are doing or their behaviour of doing the task and other activities in classrooms . It
may be the more efficient way to reach the requirements of specific observation.
 Rating scale- Rating scale is one of the creative tool for producing a quantifiable result
and rating against the performances of individuals. It is also helps in obtaining the
learners behaviour traits,judgements of degree of individuals which the objective tests
can not able to detect.
 Anecdotal tool -Anecdotal tool are used to record after a specific interaction occurs ,
also use to observes students skills , behaviours which goes to inform teachers . Because
of that tool a student will able to recognizes their pros and cons . It is essential for the
academic requirements because it builds strengths in students. This tools also shows that
it is very important to communicate with the students from time to time.

Peer observation and feedback
This includes the observations of teachers with each others in order to develops the classroom
best practice. Observation is the powerful assessment tool. It is a two way process which is
beneficial for both the observer and the teacher being observed. Peer may be new teachers,
another department teachers or may be any colleague, who are wiling to support the class.
Peer observation develop strategies and provide a fresh way to approaching the issues of
students.
A feedback can be positive or negative both it depends on the thinking capacity of individuals.
Both types of feedback can be helpful for future . In case of Students feedbacks,it plays an
important role for school or classroom , through this process it can be assume what their
students want to change and why also how well they are performed. By this they can discuss
ways to enhance learnings and how to overcome with the problems faced by students.
CONCLUSION
From the above project report, it was concluded that group dynamics plays an important role in
making learners more comfortable to learn and understand. There are various strategies which
will help in making lectures more interesting and to deliver better class lectures. There are
various challenges in learner development. Skills helps students to improve their abilities. The

barriers must be managed by individual I order to make learner more comfortable. Class
dynamics helps students in maintaining healthy relationship between teachers and students in
order to make students productive. There are various motivational approaches which helps in in
engaging with group members. Students should be treated in a right manner and not on the basis
of race, colour and religion. They must be treated in a right manner and for that school must
make rules and regulations in order top prevent form these practices. It is important to keep
information confidential in group and for that it should be provided with authorized access so
that information cannot be leaked.
