■ To reduce the impact of disaster
on the life of human
■ To participate in the collaborative
efforts to lower the loss of
property and economic disruption.
■ To give effective care to the
affected person.

Flood in
Maryland
■ Flood in Maryland has been emerged from
overflowing of Patapso river.
■ The incidence of flood in Maryland situated in
coastline has been multiple, the most recent
happened in 2016 and 2018 (Thakali et al.,
2019).
■ The major reason for high flood in Maryland is
blockage of water channels, damaged walls of
streams and due to ecological factors like
global warming.
