INTRODUCTIONManagement is the process of administering and controlling the activities of organizationso that the task accomplished lead the company to achieve its goal and objectives. Efficientmanagement is the backbone of successful organization. Operations management is concernedwith converting the labour and materials into finished goods and services in an most efficientmanner in order to maximize the profit of the company. This report is based on observationalstudy of Tesco Plc which is a British multinational groceries retailer and is operating its businessin 11 countries across Europe and Asia. This report will highlight the roles and characteristics ofa leader and manager in an organization. The report will also include roles of leader and managerin different situations and various theory and approach of leadership. The report will include therole of leader and manager in operations management of the organization.
