INTRODUCTION
Operational administration is determined as a function which signifies controlling designing
as well as development of operations of company & procedure related to production. In addition
to this, it includes redesigning of activities that is linked with the development of goods and
services (Abubakar, 2019). In addition to this, in this assignment TESCO is considered as the
international organisation that offer appropriate products & services to its customer in order to
satisfy them. In assistance of this, there is a difference among them that must be linked or related
with role. In addition to this, there are various approaches or method of leader is described in
proper way. Apart from these, operations management method, importance of operation
management that help in enhancing profit margin and different factors that enforces direct
impact on operational management and the decision was taken by a leader is also explained in
this report.

P1 Discuss role and characteristics of leader and managers
Leaders-
A leader is one who has the ability to influence others decision and work is done. Leaders
act as a bridge between employers and employees so that a healthy relationship is being
maintained within workplace (Brock, 2019).
Managers
Managers are those war modelling or are in charge of something. Managers have the
capability to control as well as monitor departmental activities and other functions (Henkel,
2018).
Leaders and managers both are important for growth and development of business. It is
necessary for an organisation to be well aware of roles as well as characteristics of both leaders
and managers so that decision making is being done in proper manner. In context of selected
enterprise, they also have leaders as well as managers with different roles and characteristics
which are further discussed below-
