IntroductionOperation management refers to administration of business practices in the organisationto create the highest efficiency level in performing the task. And it is a procedure to convertmaterial into finished goods and services. Captify company is a digital company which providesdisplay,video, and mobile advertising including brand campaigning services. This company wasfounded in 2011 and based in London( Nakamura, ., and.et.al, 2015). This report highlights therole of leader and manager in the organisation. And also explain the roles of leader and managerin particular situation of organisation and find the various ways to improve the organisationperformance. In this report it focus on different roles played by leader and manager according totheir characters. And highlights the importance of operation management which helps to achievethe goal of leader and manager. And explain the factor which affect the decision of leaders andmanager in operational management(White, ., 2016).Lo 1P 1 Difference between the role of leader and the functions of manager.Leader : Leader is a person who motivate the group of person and lead them to act towards acommon goal. And train them to increase their work efficiency. And provide training anddevelopment program to enhance their work ability and to achieve the organisational goal withindividual goal. leader requires at all level and work as a representatives of theorganisation(Lindström, and,et.al, 2015).Manager: Manager is a responsible for a part of company and manages the various departmentand the people who work in. And manages the action of company and make decision for thewelfare of organization. Different manager play different roles in the organisation like topmanagement create vision and mission,and functional manager control the different functionalare like sale and marketing, finance etc(Frich, and.et.al, 2015).
