1. Will there be problem if employees thought and acted with elevated concerns about
the personal consequences and risks before sending messages? Explain
Answer to Question 1.
There will be problems if the employees act with elevated concerns and stops using the
application. This is because this will hamper the chances of the management to identify talented
individuals. It will also lead to problems in incorporating the employees the corporate values
through non-verbal communication.
2. Is full, open and candid communication desirable from the perspective of the bank?
Why or why not? Should the bank control what and how messages are sent within
the organization? Explain is there a darker side to the issue?
Answer to Question 2
There are mixed reactions on the presence of full open and candid communications as
because though such kind of communications is helpful for the identification of the capability of
the employees, it can also create problems with mishandling. The bank must keep a control on
the total system to ensure the types of messages being send by the employees. As said earlier, the
improper and casual use of the social media application can create problems. This is because the
network being open, the messages can reach out to each and everyone in the network which will
damage the privacy of the individual.

3. Do you like how social media applications such as wow moments are integrated with
the human resources information system? Do you have any concerns? Explain.

The question on whether one likes the social media applications like that of Wow
Moments are liked or not is a topic of intense debate. It can be said that such kind of
technologies are one of the primary needs of the business organizations as well as the employees
to stay updated in the modern world and be familiar with different kinds of management
implications. The Wow Moments are fully incorporated into the firm’s business activities and
therefore have the ability to easily recognize talented individuals and groom them to assign them
better roles in the organization. On the other hand there are people who fail to recognize the
problems with such social media sites and posts messages casually. These messages are open to
everyone and such kind of breach will lead to problems in professional as well as personal life.
4. Is there any value in incorporating nonverbal content into these computer-mediated
communication processes? Explain.
Answer to Question 4
There is great value in incorporating non verbal content as because incorporating non
verbal content in this computer mediated sites helps to make communication easier. This kind of
communications has an intrinsic value to the employees. The computer mediated communication
processes thus serves the purpose of a feedback process. Apart from serving the purpose of the
feedback process for the employees it also serves the purpose of recognizing the best employees
and rewarding them accordingly.
