1.1 The two strategic business objectives of the organization are
To become one of the most successful aviation providers with unique capabilities that will be
able to provide full turnkey aviation services to people at the affordable and the reasonable
amount of price. They want to increase their sales revenue in the future years
The other important business objective is to make sure that they are being able to diversify
themselves in the terms of their product range and also focus over the geographical expansion in
their business. In other words they will be trying to provide the heavy maintenance products like
engineering and heavy maintenance through to operations of aircraft ranging from Boeing
737 aircraft to light turbine helicopters.
These two business objectives will surely be of such use to them as they will be able to use the
same for the purpose of developing themselves as one of the most unique and diversified
companies selling the aircraft products (www.airwork.co.nz. 2019). This is because 21st century
is an era of rapid developments and changing demands patterns of the customers. In order to
satisfy the needs and the demands off the customers the organization is trying their level best to
satisfy the needs and the demands of their customers (Aven, 2016). As the customers of the
company are spread across a large number of places in the world, it is natural that there are some
differences in the thinking pattern and the demands of the customers. As a result of this the
customers are looking for newer and advanced products. Therefore setting these two business
objectives will be helpful for them to make sure that they are being able to maintain a proper
effort to attain these business objectives. The company is mainly trying to engage themselves in

these three selected fields of aviation so that they can pioneer in these three sleeved fields. These
three fields are as follows
1. Helicopter MRO Services & Sales
2. Helicopter Operations and Leasing
3. Fixed Wing Operations and Leasing
One strategic business objective that would help in enhancing the business performance-
1.2 One of the business objectives is to develop themselves as the specialist aviation provider
with a unique capability to provide full turnkey aviation services. This would be one of the most
useful and unique aspect of the company. This objective will be helping them largely as this will
be helping them to work a lot and develop themselves as the most sought after companies in the
field of aviation industries. As the company is mainly centered in New Zealand the company has
chosen this business objective (Botha et al., 2016). The business objective will be helpful of the
company as they will be able to maintain a perfect and strong compliance with the tradition and
the cultures of the country that is of New Zealand. New Zeeland has a very strong tradition of
aviation industry in any country in the world. This was mainly done in order to make sure that
people are able to reach out to their desired destination in the right way as they will be able to
stay connected with the world. As New Zealand had a very tough topography, they had to
develop a good aviation center that would be helping them stay in a proper connection with the
outside world. Air works is one of the oldest aviation companies that have reflections of these
traditions of their country. Therefore these objectives will be helping them to carry on with these
objectives. They have the aim of developing themselves as the engineering and heavy

Operations management principles on the strategic business objectives of the organization
2.1 There are usually several principles of operations management that must be followed by
many different organizations. In order to make sure that the company is being able to run
properly, the managers and all the other members of the hierarchy must make sure that they are
being able to abide by all the different rules like humility, reality, accountability, success, change
and also many other such aspects. Airworks New Zealand has also been able to understand that
they have to abide by all these principles if they want to work in a successful and prosperous
manner in this tough competitive world.
Success- There are many different definitions of success and there are several ways for any
organization to attain success. However among all the different reasons the prime reason that the
company must be using to attain great heights of success must be through the complete and the
maximum satisfaction of their customers. As the company Airworks want to establish
themselves as the best provider of turnkey aircraft it is evident that they are keeping the topic of
customer satisfaction as their top most priority and the prime definition of success. As per the
annual report of the company, they have been able to establish themselves the Global provider of
the tailored aviation service from heavy maintenance and engineering through to operations and
charter of aircraft ranging from Boeing 737s to light turbine helicopters . It can be said that they
are putting forward the strategy of continuous improvement for developing safer and unique
