INTRODUCTION
Scientific management theory helps out in analysing work flow for improving up
economic efficiency focussing on labour productivity. The theory is responsible for enhancing
production concentrating on steady improvement in the business operation (Kitana, 2016.).
There is need to have fruitful cooperation between managers and workers to enhance the team
work achieved. Scientific management is looking out to have harmonious relationship between
management a worker assisting up production in organization. In this report, there will
discussion on influence of theory of scientific management on designing of work in the modern
organization. Beside this reference of the strength and weakness in relation to its impact on
organizational designing.

Scientific management in modern organization
The scientific managements have been well known for its application of the engineering
sciences at the production floor or level of operating. The major contributor of this theory is
Fredrick Winslow Taylor known often s Taylorism. The major emphasis is regarding increasing
production through using the intensive technology. The theory has believed that’s human beings
are adjusts to machines in the performance of routine task.
Scientific management is the systematise approaches in comparison to their rule of thumb
or trail and errors approach. This is not only defined as techniques set regarding the improvement
in efficiency but the substitution for exact scientific investigation and knowledge in term of
individuals judgements undertaken in the business enterprises. The theory is considered as one
of the best and initial efforts where science is needed to be applied on management an
engineering process (Waring, 2016). Companies are followed is technique though breaking
process of work into the different subtask or least possible units for intention regulating most
efficient method for accomplishing the particular task.
Scientific management theory has been following up four principle in business
management as First of all the scientific study will be performing organization work through
replacing traditional trial and error method such as rule of thumb. Secondly, in an organization
employee ae selected, trained and skill development have specific task in professional manners.
