Reasons for Failure of Taco Bell in Dubai
The main reason for failure of Taco Bell is the lack of the market research along with
lack of proper customization to the local tastes which are being preferred by the different
customers in Dubai market. The lack of the brand recognition of Taco Bell was the other major
aspect for them in failing in the market of UAE and it impacted their profitability to a large
extent. It all proved to be disastrous for Taco Bell to keep their presence in Dubai or in the
market of UAE (CNBC.com, 2020).

Analysis of Strategies for Taco Bell to Revive their Business in UAE
Proper localization is the first strategy which is needed to be adopted by Taco Bell in
UAE as in the American countries; vegetarian tacos and burgers are liked and accepted by
customers. However, in UAE, the non-vegetarian is the first and foremost choice which needs to
be taken care (Liu et al., 2016).
Promotional Strategy is the other key aspect which is needed to be implemented for
making the customers of UAE understands the growing trend of their new campaign named Feed
the Beat.

economy as consuming heavy sweets first in the morning is not the part of the Indian culture.
Donkin Donuts tried to introduce the espressos and iced-teas which were not the ones for which
the Indian customers were used to. It too failed as they did not understand the preferences of
Indian customers. Later on, they understood and realized their mistake and they closed all the
shops which were present in Indian market (The Medium.com, 2020).
