Management refers to the activities and art of
getting things done together to achieve the
desired goals and objectives with the help of
available resources efficiently. This report
explains the role of various management
theories of teamwork and motivational theories
such as Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs,Alderfer,
McClelland, Two Factors motivational theory in
order to understand the of team in depth.

TEAMWORK AND
MOTIVATIONAL THEORIES
Belbin Theory comprises the nine team roles of
the behavioural attributes founded by Dr
Meredith Belbin in reference to track the
progress of the team. The nine roles are
resource investigator, Team worker, Co-
ordinator, Plant, Monitor Evaluator, Specialist,
Shaper, Implementer and Completer Finisher. A
team should have a proper balance of the nine
above mentioned team roles This theory
explains the role and pattern of behaviour
which presents the behaviour of one person
which promotes the progress of the whole
team.

Teamwork requires the effective management to attain specific goals of the a particular project with the
available resources. A proper management helps in completion of tasks correctly in minimum time to
yield desired results of the project. This report helped in demonstration of the use of motivational
theories to keep the team motivated and perform better. Motivational theories such as Maslow Hierarchy
of Needs and Vroom's theory of expectancy helped to keep the teamwork stable and lead to achieve the
goals of the teamwork. It further explained the role of CVF in self actions and behaviours.
