INTRODUCTION In an organisation there are various types of functions which are performed. these functions depend on nature and type of organisation. the role of these functions is to perform all task and duties to achieve goals. however, there are different types of management practices as well whichisperformedineffectiveway.theroleofmanagementistoorganisestaffand communicate properly. basically, they refer to methods which is used by managers to improve efficiency. this enables in achieving goals and objectives in efficient way. the use of practices depends on need of organisation. Also, common practices are training, innovation, use of technology, changing processes, etc. with help of practices it becomes easy to enhance efficiency of staff so that goals are attained. basically, there are two types of practices in it that are internal and external. so, the main areas are communication, strategic planning, performance monitoring, KPI, etc. the functions of all these differ from one another and they are applied by manager in different areas. In order to establish the timeline for performing the different activities in step by step manner. Furthermore, thereare various managementtheoriesaswellwhich are appliedwith practices. they are useful in assisting practices and improving its efficiency. So, system theory, theory X and Y, scientific management, etc are some theories in it. the theories are concepts that include framework and guidelines which are followed within practices. The management practices refer to methods which is used by managers to improve efficiency. this enables in achieving goals and objectives in efficient way. the use of practices depends on need of organisation. Management functions are considerable as important activities that performed within the organization. As per case study, Allstyles department store has 3
performed the various management function such as planning, organising, controlling and leading. It should be thinking about the activities as process whereas each step build on others. Rebecca management always focused on the business plan and then try to organise on the basis of need and requirement. It can be possible when it easily leading the work towards plan and evaluating the effectiveness of plan (Ajibola,2020). Furthermore, it should be categorising the four basic function of management. Also, it is important for store as it allows them to develop plan to achieve goals in effective way. also, strategies are developed which provide direction on how to attain goals. besides, efficiency is increased as well as performance of employees. there are tow types of management theories applied by store. they are abc. with help of these theories it will be easy for store to work in effective way and attain goals.
