INTRODUCTION
Management is a function which works to manage activities of an organisation to attain
organisational objectives (Jones and George, 2015). This is a report which is based on
management in The University of Australia in Birni campus. This is second international campus
of cited University and there are some of the major factors are impacting on their performance.
Lack of communication, written work, time management, less control on employees and market
analysis some of the major problems which are found in this case. This report will provide a brief
on these problems and also give solutions which can be useful for the management of cited Birni
Campus.
Problem Identification analysis
As The University of Australia has recently established a new campus in Birni and it has
used their trusted old employee Jack Solan as a leader of Senior Management Team of that
particular campus and University is having a lot of expectations from them. But after 12 months
they have analysed that their team is not working appropriately as per the expectations of the
University so they took a visit to analyse what are the key problems in achieving targets. Here
are some of the major factors which are impacting on Birni campus;
01. Poor leadership at middle level management
The leaders of middle level do not support their employees and not motivate them to do
work better. They are not cooperative. Most of the middle level managers are using Laissez Fair
leadership style which allows to employees to take their own decisions regarding to work and
most of the employees which are working in that campus have misuse this. Irresponsible attitude
of them, reflects that they are not focused for the development of Birni campus. Employees are
not arrival on right time and they do not answer phone call of their seniors, it directly shows that
managers are not providing them a proper guideline and direction to work although they are not
considering their subordinates mistakes (Bettis and et. al., 2016). LaissezFair leadership provides
a scope to take own decisions by an employee in favor of organization but in Birni campus they
are using this leadership style for their own benefits.

Another big problem is most of their employees which are working in the management
and administration are working on writing. Most of the meetings conducted by them just based

they can give a reason to do not work (Zapolski and et. al., 2014). Birni campus is a part of The
University of Australia and it is essential for them to use an appropriate format of
communication which can help to them to make a better transmission of orders in organization
structures. So it is essential for them to use paper and system to communicate, enhance the use of
paper work.

This is the main problem which investigated by Mr. Jack in their organization that most
of their employees does not know objectives of The University of Australia. It is essential for the
organization to introduce their business objectives to their employees which can help to them to
generate better workings from their employees according to their business objectives. Most of
