INTRODUCTIONManagement is a function which works to manage activities of an organisation to attainorganisational objectives (Jones and George, 2015). This is a report which is based onmanagement in The University of Australia in Birni campus. This is second international campusof cited University and there are some of the major factors are impacting on their performance.Lack of communication, written work, time management, less control on employees and marketanalysis some of the major problems which are found in this case. This report will provide a briefon these problems and also give solutions which can be useful for the management of cited BirniCampus. Problem Identification analysisAs The University of Australia has recently established a new campus in Birni and it hasused their trusted old employee Jack Solan as a leader of Senior Management Team of thatparticular campus and University is having a lot of expectations from them. But after 12 monthsthey have analysed that their team is not working appropriately as per the expectations of theUniversity so they took a visit to analyse what are the key problems in achieving targets. Hereare some of the major factors which are impacting on Birni campus;01. Poor leadership at middle level management The leaders of middle level do not support their employees and not motivate them to dowork better.They are not cooperative. Most of the middle level managers are using Laissez Fairleadership style which allows to employees to take their own decisions regarding to work andmost of the employees which are working in that campus have misuse this. Irresponsible attitudeof them, reflects that they are not focused for the development of Birni campus. Employees arenot arrival on right time and they do not answer phone call of their seniors, it directly shows thatmanagers are not providing them a proper guideline and direction to work although they are notconsidering their subordinates mistakes (Bettis and et. al., 2016). LaissezFair leadership providesa scope to take own decisions by an employee in favor of organization but in Birni campus theyare using this leadership style for their own benefits.02.Employees are not focus on written work, they only focus on oral talkAnother big problem is most of their employees which are working in the managementand administration are working on writing.
