Introduction
The dynamic nature of the global industry compels every organization to adapt to the changes
and formulate appropriate strategies. In order to survive in the highly competitive markets, the
companies adapt themselves to the changing technologies so that they can survive in the market.
In this assignment, the case study of Sainsbury's has been used to understand the growing
importance of the digital technologies on the operations of the company. For detailed analysis,
the use of the finger print scanner technology has been researched upon related to human
resource department. The assignment contains small-scale research analysis for ascertaining
responses and generating outcomes.

The above table demonstrates the total time and total cost consumed to complete the procedure
of the survey, which consists of on-site surveys in which thousands of employees of Sainsbury’s
has been investigated. The table also consists of survey conducted via emails, conferences and
phone calls. The researcher also carried out personal or face to face interviews with 3 HR
managers of Sainsbury’s that turned out to be helpful for the researcher to accumulate
information about the company. It also helped the researcher to get a rough idea about how much
time and cost it consumes to implement finger print scanner technology and its influence on the
business organization.
Scope of the project management plan:
Scope of the project plan reflects the chances or opportunities and the effectiveness of the
business plan. The scope of the project management plan can be categorized in two types
included scope and excluded scopes are mentioned below:
Included scope: Included scope is the scope that is included within the project of business
management plan. Included scope helps the researcher to identify and analyze the amount of
influence finger print scanner technology has on the organization and the activities that are
carried out within the organization. In addition, included scope assists the researcher to recognize
and assess the level of satisfaction provided to the customer by the company.
Excluded scope: Excluded scope is the scope that is basically not mentioned in the project.

on the organization and its effect on the business environment of the organization. Similar to
