Project is a piece of planned activity which is required to finish in fixed period of time.
Project manager generally conducts any specific project with using various resources to get
possible outcomes. In this they consider planning, organising, staffing, directing, and controlling
for the purpose of achieving predetermined goals and manage entire business operations in an
effective manner (Bakker and et. al., 2011). In the current scenario, digitalisation play an
important role in organisation that facilitate to operate business function because it is essential in
storing and processing data with the help of utilising various digital tools, systems and devices as
well. Company considered online transaction, e-mails, e-commerce businesses, web blogging,
web sites and online marketing through digitalisation. It includes mobile devices, productivity,
software, cloud computing and other digital tool that beneficial to runs runs business entity. This
report is based on Nomtek which deals in designing mobiles app, software development,
publishing, testing and maintenance and project management. This assignment will defines the
use if websites for engaging with customers. It will cover project management plan with
appropriate resources.

Projects should have particular aims and objectives that requires to accomplished by an
organisation. So, management set the targets and defined goals so that best possible outcomes
can be attained. This project is based on impacts of digital technology on business activity and
manager will analyse the effectiveness of websites for engaging with customers and attract them
towards firm so that profits can be generated. Digital technology has major impacts on the
business as it essential in managing activities with record, keep as well as store necessary data or
information through digital tools so that better outcomes can be get. Every organisational
functions including human resource, finance, marketing, information technology, production and
operations that can be performed in better ways (Crane and Matten, 2016). Web designing and
digital technology is beneficial in communicating process because in this use of social media,
online chat, e-mail, mobile technology or applications and other tools that connect with every
people at global level is done. Company can consider these tools for connecting with various
people and build strong relationship through appropriates interaction as well.

with customers to create a long term relation with each others. In this project, it will be analysed
that how interactive websites attracts number of customers and enhance sales volume to generate
profits as well. This research is associated with interactive websites and its impact on the
customer’s engagement so that firm can achieve higher growth and improve brand image in an
efficient way (Crane and Matten, 2016). Nomtek is small enterprise that deals in mobile
application, software development, design apps, testing and maintenance, publishing and project
management. Now days, it has been identified that company is facing some contingency and
falling sales due to lack of awareness or interaction so, it is required to create effective websites
and engage customers so that they can give their opinion, response, feedback and share
experiences regarding any particular goods or services.

In the modern era, it is necessary to be digitalised due to changing environment because
there are many competitors who considered digital tools or technologies for managing and
maintaining business operation or functions in an adequate manner (Eweje, Turner and Müller,
2012). Therefore, it is required to undertake digital tools for every business enterprises to

achieve competitive advantages. Project management plan is helpful in analysing impacts of
digital technology as how interactive websites can be beneficial for the company in attracting
and retaining customers towards organisation. They can know about customer’s point of views,
feedback, opinions so that company can provide them, better quality of goods or services to meet
their desired expectations as well. Therefore, project management plan must be formulated in
which undertake project scope, cost, quality, time, resource, communication and risk for the
purpose of implementation of particular plan in adequate way. Company can attain bests possible
outcomes and competitive advantages with the help of appropriate project management plan.
There are some components described in detailed form such as:
 Scope: The scope of this project is to determine the major impact of digital technology
and hows it is beneficial in managing entire business operation for getting higher
profits or revenues as well. Project manager undertake the scope for developing
business through adoption of new digital tools and techniques as well as create any
interactive websites that attracts huge audiences towards innovative websites and
influence them to buy company's products or services in an effective manner. It is
essential in connecting with direct and indirect customers as they can take actions
including voting, playing games, participating in quiz, sharing experiences, so that

 Time: There is required to frame time sand schedule activities as per the time of

the quality and effectiveness of project by using several tools or techniques as well.

during running project so that positive results can be optimised. Website must be
created in more effective manner and attractive in looking wise for getting attention.
 Risk: It is genuine factor that have major impacts on the project as it can occur during
running project and its activities that restricts to attains aims or objectives in adequate
way. Nomtek can face any problems or issues while creating interactive websites in the
organisation so it is necessary to undertake various risks factors for completing project
and accomplish set goals. This firm is providing several technological services

According to above project, it has been summarised that managing a successful business
is not so easy so there is required proper project which must be conducted to achieve aims and
objectives in an effective manner. There are more things to learn during project study as how to
analyse the major impacts of digital technology for every business organisation and how they can
use these to accomplish set goals or objectives as well. It has been found that designing
interactive websites can be helpful in retaining customers loyal and accomplish particular targets
in better manner. Nomtek company is dealing in designing mobile apps, software development
and other services in the market place so they required to create more awareness and increase
sales volume by selling goods and services. It can be helpful in analysing that how to apply work
breakdown structure and Gantt chart to identify appropriate time frame and collect information
through different research methods and techniques as well.
CONCLUSION
Form the above report, it has been concluded that digital technology has direct impacts
on business function or activities and it play vital role in making entire operations in smooth
manner as well. Nomtek is providing several software development, design mobile apps, testing
and maintenance and many more in the market place so interactive website will support in
