INTRODUCTION
Talent management refers as a continuous strategic process which is mainly incorporated with
identify , attract , retain highly talented candidate so they can work in a effective manner and
improve their performance in order to improve their productivity so that they can retain ine
organisation for or longer period of time. For every organisation, employees
Consider as lifelong assets which provide high profit and revenue which will help to enhance the
overall productive of the organisation. The prime motive of this report is to understand the
significance of talent management in respect of Halfords company. It is the famous retailer
company in UK. This report is contain as a research assignment that mainly focus on the
importance of talent management strategies for the company so that they can attract and also
retain the right talented staff in their organisation. Moreover , this research report conduct
research with the use of appropriate research methodology which is useful to organise research in
an effective manner.

This research is basically depend upon talent management and its strategy in order to obtain
organizational goal in an effective manner. In context of Halfords , management of the company
now very much focused about the strategies of talent management so that company can recruit
high potential candidates and give them appropriate training and development session so that
they can perform comfortable in also boost their performance level time to time . Halfords is the
big retailer company that provide many goods and services for the convince of people. But due
to lack of talent management strategies and practices , company experienced high turnover
because company is not concerned about the good recruitment , training & Development , and
employees retention (Taylor, 2018). Now company become more serious about talent
management strategies and also concentrate on the recruitment and training session so that
company can attract and retain high skilled employees so that they can improve their market
growth. This main reson behind this research report is to recognize the need of the retention of
thigh talented employees in the organisation and the other reason behind this research is to

identify the importance of talent management strategies so that company can focus on employees
recruitment , selection, training and development.
Aim

the company in order to attract and retain employees. A case Study on Halfords.

P2 Project Management Plan
A project is considered as a task that help to reach out the desired result. Project management
refers as a method that help to maintain and obtain the specific objectives of the project report.
Project management includes various resources that can help to achieve the project task on the
given deadline (Sheehan, Grant and Garavan, 2018). There are many variables that associated
with project management plane that need to be consider systematically by the researcher. The
explanation of these variables are given below - Time - This is very prominent variable that help to complete the research on time. The
specific time limit is essential because it can help to save the researcher from many

distractions so that researcher can easily avoids all the roadblock and set their mind set to
fully concentrate on research work and set their research target according to the time and
try continuously to complete each and every research task on a particular time deadline.
Time management is crucial because it can affect the effectiveness of the research
(Gallardo-Gallardo, Thunnissen and Scullion, 2020). Quality - Quality comes under that factor that never be avoid or compromised in content
research report. In project management, all the activities are divided into various sections
like cost, scope , time , risk and resources etc. The quality of the project also play a
prominent role in the significance of the research so it is necessary to maintain the project
quality. In this research, primary and secondary research conduct so that researcher will
get high quality of information in order to maintain the quality of this research report. Communication -A clear communication process is required in order to obtain the best
possible outcome of the project report. Proper communication should be appropriate for
each and every team members so that they can communicate, deliver and receive relevant
and valid information related to the research topic and areas. To avoid the communication
barriers , project head can conduct meeting during the research project time and share all
the appropriate data and information effectively that will help to ignore the confusion and
miscommunication (Collings, Scullion and Caligiuri, 2018). Risk - To identify and address the risk in consider the most important part of the project.
The avoidance of risk in the research project will lead the less effective research
outcomes. To identify and resolve the risk in research, there is a need to apply mitigation
plan so that researcher can avoid the possibility of risk. The main risk occur in research
project is delay in research report.
Resources- Project management require all the resources which are essential to conduct
and completion the report on time. Proper recognition of resources are helpful to effective
allocation of all the resources and tasks . There are various resources involved in project
management such as financial , internet, survey , questionnaires etc.

Project management needs effective tracking of all the activities so that researcher can
allot all the tasks and activities on the basis of specific stages like planning , organizing ,

the requirements of the project.

This chart consider as an important tool that help to accomplish project in a effective
way. Gantt Chart is useful in plan and schedule all the research report activities in an appropriate
manner. Through this chart, all the activities are mentioned systematically which will make easy
for the researcher to complete the research on the given time (Claus, 2019).
