Introduction
This project is for United Kingdom based organisation Cocofina. This organisation is
involved in the practice of manufacturing and supplying of coconut water and coconut items.
This organisation is not having effective operations. This organisation is struggling for
making operations effective. With the implementation of digital technology the operations
can be made better. The implication of digital technology with the operations is studied in
this project. Aim and objectives for this project are decided. The implementation of the
relevant data and sources is accomplished for this project. After that a questionnaire is made
on which survey is accomplished from the selected population. Different respondents provide
different responses about the questions asked in the questionnaire. Further recommendations
are proposed for this project.

P1 Devise project aims and objectives for a chosen scenario
Aim
The aim of the project is to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of operations with the
help of digital technology. For the effective understanding we have taken Cocofina as an
organisation. This organisation is involved in providing different type of coconut product to
its customers. Thereis different type of operations better associated with this organisation like
manufacturing, supplying product to its customers. For the better understanding there can be
different objectives that can be decided for this project (Borgia, 2014). The different
objectives that are decided for this project will be helpful in the overall analysis.
There can be different type of objectives that can be possible for this assessment. The
different objectives are: -
Objectives
 To analyse impact of digital technology in enhancing operations effectiveness of the
organisation.
 To determine the role played by digital technology in creating good operations for the
organisation.
 To analyse the implication of cloud computing which is a part of digital technology
for operations of organisation.
Project deliverables
There can be different type of project deliverables that can be the output because of this
project. One of the project deliverables will be the methods by which digital technology can
play a role in enhancing effectiveness and efficiency of operations of this organisation.
Another project deliverable will be the positive and negative aspect of digital technology on
the operations. The implication can provide a sustainable change or not is also the
deliverable.

Project management plan is associated with different type of aspects that can have positive
and negative implication on the particular project. The success and failure of the particular
project depends on the different factors by which the particular project plan can be made.
Therefore it is necessary to make a particular project plan while considering all the below
factors which are as follows: -
Costs
The cost that will include in the particular project should be economicallynature. For the
particular activity a particular cost is decided. Therefore it is necessary to accomplish the
particular activity if they decided cost (Borgia, 2014). If the particular activity is going more
than the decided cost then it signifies the failure of the particular project.
Time
For the particular activity a time frame is decided. The time frame is divided for the particular
activity on the basis of deadlines of the particular activity. Therefore the particular activity
has to be delivered within the decided deadline. This can be accomplished only with the help
of implementing the activities on time. The wastage of the time is also included because of
agencies that can occur in the particular project.
Quality
It is very necessary for the particular project to be accomplished with good quality standards.
Is the particular project is followed with the activities that are of good qualities then the
accomplishment of the particular project will be in good quality (Johnston, et. al., 2015).
Effective communication with the stakeholders
Stakeholders are the main entity of the particular project. The supply of the different
resources is accomplished by the stakeholders only. In this project management plan
stakeholders are included in the important decision making. This can be beneficial for
accomplishing the particular project plan with the supply that is required and the necessary.

It is necessary that with a particular project different type of risk will be associated. For the
particular project to be accomplished on time different risk has to be taken by the project
manager (Treem&Leonardi,2013). Therefore mitigation of risk strategies can be implemented
so that risk minimization can be accomplished.
Scope
The scope of this project is quite wide. Good amount of data can be collected and then it can
be analysed in respect to the operation that is associated with the digital technology. The
implication of the digital technology can be understood well from this project.
Resources
The use of human resources is accomplished in the efficient manner. The population is
selected that particular population knows the digital technology very well. Another resource
is the information is gathered in the efficient way. This information can be used as the
sources are genuine in nature.
