A study on Marks and Spencer”.INTRODUCTIONThe role played by multinational company in globalisation process is very important.Multinational Corporation (MNC) is a corporate organisation which owns or control theproduction of products and services in at least one country pother than other country (Vahlne,and Jonsson, 2017). There are many benefits, a developing countries are enjoying with theemergence of Multinational organisation. The scale of investment is likely to very importantwhen MNC's invests in a host country (Deng and Yang, 2015). There are so many advantages ofinvesting in host country as the economic, social, environment and financial factors arepositively influenced. It improves the balance of payments as direct flows of capital into thecountry. MNCs also provides employment in the host country as they used to recruit localresidence which is also a financial and economics benefits to the host country (Impact ofglobalisation on business, 2018). MNC's are the sources of tax revenues, technology transfer andmany other benefits. Thus, in this present research paper, researcher will investigate the impact ofMultinational Corporation (Marks and Spencer) in the business environment of host country(India) with the application of various methods and technologies. Background of the ResearchThe present research is based on Marks and Spencer. The topic is to investigate theimpact of MNC's on the host country. Marks and Spencer is a major British multinationalretailers which have chains of stores at global level. Emerging country like India providesattractive foreign direct investment so that investor invest there capital which in turn leads todevelopment of economy. Mainly the economic, social and financial conditions of the hostcountry is influenced by Multinational corporations as they improve balance of payments,providing employment, they are source of tax revenue and many other benefits are there (Selmerand Lauring, 2015). The reason forchoosing India as host country because, India is an emerging country where many MNC's aredeveloping their business because of attractive foreign direct investment policy. It is a plan which very important in managing successful business project. It is thesystematic way in which it adds structure to the process by assigning an order to all essentialparts included in the plan. Here are the basic elements of project management plan that arerequired to be considered - Cost: This is first and fundamental element of the research where enumerator have toplan the budget so that the project is completed on available resources or cost (ProjectManagement Plan,2018). Each and every task has been allotted specific cost in which they haveto complete the entire research in a systematic manner. This present research required £7000.Communication: Communication is also very important part in project managementplan. It is the responsibility of researcher to communicate each and every thing to all the peoplewhich are straight or indirectly involved in the investigation. To get the better of thecommunication gap, researcher uses circulars, emails and messenger to communicate all theimportant informations to staff members (Kerzner and Kerzner, 2017).Scope: Scope means the range of study where it can be use. The scope of this presentresearch paper is very broad as it is useful in both corporate and academic sectors. It is useful forcompanies who are operating at global levels, for countries who allows MNC's to conduct therebusiness. In addition to this, the scope of this research is not limited to corporate level but it isalso very useful at academic sector. Students who are doing studies on globalisation andliberalisation can be very helpful from this research. They will learn and understand about theimpact of MNC on business environment of host nation.Resources: Resources are also one of the most essential elements as these are one's wholeads research to its conclusion (Fleming and Koppelman, 2016). Without adequate resources,research study is not able to complete. In this present research, laptops, stationery items, USB,people, equipment, funding and facilities etc. are required to complete the research. Quality: In order to maintain the reliability and validity of research, quality plays anessential role. From starting to end conclusion, it is very important that scholar should ensure thestandard needed to maintain the quality of research. Key performance of indicator is one of thebest way to maintain the quality (Fleming and Koppelman, 2016). Time: Time is very important factor in project management plan as it is very important asit is very important that researcher should plan the activities as per the time because if there isdelay in work it will affect the quality of study. This present study will be completed in 35 days. 4

Risk: In order to carry out investigation efficaciously it is very essential that there shouldbe becoming assessment of risk that will help the firm and researcher to keep the effectiveness ofthe study of the investigation. There are many hazard like as theft of data, security issues etc.thus, it is very essential that researcher should ensue and mitigate the risk by making proper planand management.Milestone: Researcher have set some milestone which they will achieve completing thestudy which are as follows-Quality standard will be achieved.Data sources are evaluated.Ethical standards are ensured.
