people?
INTRODUCTION
Talent management is the refers to the continuous process which is being used by the
organisation in order to attract and retain a talented employees at the workplace. Talent
management strategies helps the organisation and employees in retaining, increasing productivity
and boosting their performance at workplace. Moreover, it is discussed as the strategy used by
company to encourage them and staying for long period of time (Li Qi and Jia Qi, 2021). The
main objectives of talent management is to encourage an employees towards the achievement of
goals and objectives. There can be various challenges faced by employers ate the time of
implementing talent management strategies, but they have to keep them in mind. The
organisation taken in this report is Barclays. It is a universal bank which is operating in London.
It was founded in the year 1690 and dealing in products like retail banking, commercial, private
and investment banking etc. there are about 84000 employees working currently in the
organisation. This report includes talent management strategies used in Barclays to enhance their
employees and research aims and objective and research methods and data analysis.
Aim

Project plan
A project management plan could be referred as vital plan for an organisation to attain
the objectives, goals and purpose of a project. It facilitates in the process of developing proper
management in the organisation so that assigned activities and tasks could be performed properly
(Cano Serrano, 2021). A well-organized plan determines the success of the project. The type of
document being developed to configure a project in a particular way (Peñaloza, 2020). It consists
of various stages of start-up, monitoring, planning and control. Some factors that are considered
in a project management plan are mentioned below.
Project aim: To analyse the importance of various talent management strategies, do the
best companies to attract and retain employees of long run. A case study on Barclays.”
Cost: With the purpose of conducting research, sufficient amount of funds are needed so
that multiple activities could be performed accordingly and properly. Costs are directly
connected to researchers to effectively attain reports of project, goals of project and
objectives as the very first element of plan of project management. In the report provided,
investigators are required to spend to an amount of about £550 in the starting level of
collecting information through primary sources. Meanwhile, researchers would spend £
200 on gathering data for secondary research. Therefore, with the motive of carrying out
the current research it is significant to identify the whole budget plan.
Scope: The scope of the current report is formative related to particular concepts in
relation to the present research in terms of function, delivery and mission (Dachner, and
et.al., 2021). Here, the project plan targets at a process of talent management that
facilitates Barclays to hire the best employees in the organisation for a long time
duration. This assists the company to select the best employee so that business turnover
could be decreased.
Time: In this report, the researcher would identify how long it would take to achieve the
project plan. Therefore, WPS and Gantt chart are considered for maintaining a schedule.

Investigators require proper schedule of time period for completing the current project. It
would take about 13 weeks for completing the current research project.
Quality: Quality maintained by researchers so that accurate results can be specified. The
primary research, collected through literature reviews and book journals, is conducted
through a survey of 25 respondents from Barclays companies by filling the survey forms.
Communication: In order to do this research, Proper communication is required so that
all task can be performed properly. Both verbal and written communication are used to
collect data and information. This research communicates in writing through a review of
the literature, allowing employees to collect real information (Meredith, 2020).
Risk: Risks are identified for all kind of projects. It is the main part for completing the
project. This is related with resources of finance, lack of interest from people, and lack of
accurate, authentic and reliable information. These risks can be associated with this
research report, so investigators should keep these risks in mind.
Resources: The resources used in this report are paper, pen, responses and time. These
are the few resources which are used for the implementation of this research plan and the
completion of the project plan and the achievement of the aim and objectives of the
research. Without the helps of the resource objectives of the research cannot be achieved
properly.
Gantt chart
Gantt chart is define as the term that will related to the organisation device that will aid in
creating an efficient arrangement and programming of the analysis report by consuming all
scopes. It will get related with the key term of an organisational timeline and duty that are
associated with the various sections of the task. As these are linked with the development
opportunity and variations that will sustained for the achievement and accomplishment of targets
in the business of management (Young Illies and Stachowski, 2020). Gantt chart mark the
manner and utilise the figures, bar charts, tables and images by which it might implement the
task and sizes like systematising, implementing and guiding of the actions that are being
achieved by the researcher.
