Concept of diversity and equality at workplace.
In the views of Angel Sharma, 2016, In an organisation the term Diversity and equality
plays a important part as it motivate management to generate better relationship among
personnel and also to improver overall productivity of organisation in an amended way (Boehm
and Dwertmann, 2015). Hence, these terms are not similar in nature as it contain its own
features and understanding towards accomplishing company's objective in an effective way.
Additionally, diversity is a combination of race, colour, religion and other traits while equality
means rendering fair treatment and opportunities to every personnel irrespective of religion,
language, caste, culture (Managing diversity and equality in the workplace, 2016). Therefore,
adopting of both the concepts enable organisation to place their brand in a aggressive and
competitory perspective as well as can generate collaborative or extremely cooperative working
condition among employees. With the help of this, firm can attain sustainable growth and
profitability ratio among competitors in an improved manner.

trenchant mode (Erickson and et. al., 2014.). Moreover, it provide proper guidance and
direction to researcher in order to carry out each activities in a given time duration without any
obstacle or difficulties among personnel. Apart form this, it encompasses different strategies and
plans that benefit organisation and project manager to execute the task among team members in a
impressive manner. However, it involves various types of components such as cost, risk, size,
scope, budget and so on. Therefore, as per Tesco researcher, they make an effort to produce a
project development plan which is described below:
Cost: It is one of the basic element during conducting a research as it is refer to those
aspect which states that a value of a amount which is needed to accomplish a pre defined goal or

market scenario and on the basis of take action to acquire fund from different sources like
friends, relative, peers. Hence, the approximate cost which is ascertained by researcher in
relation to this report is around £250. Therefore, by estimating the expense in advance help
investigator to carry out each project activities in a effective and better manner without any
obstacle.

completing the peculiar work without any occurrence. However, due to the adoption of this
component, researcher is able to produce better quality of project in order to obtain full level of
satisfaction from targeted respondents (Ewoh, 2013). Henceforth, in relation to this research,
investigator examines the duration of whole activities and make a decision of finishing this
project within 2 months period of time. Therefore, by determining the time period in advance
help investigator to acquire effective strategies or techniques and apply the same within current
study. Moreover, it lead them to impose their best endeavour towards an achievement of pre

Quality: It is one of the key element in organizing research study as it directly connected
with specified project productivity and value among market and personnel. Hence, in regard of
this research, investigator make an effort to apply relevant or accurate information or data
through various sources like newspaper or websites. With the initiation of such activity , it aid
researched to acquire positive response from targeted manpower and also can be useful for
further scholars for making their studies and research in a better way. Furthermore, project

Communication: This phase is one of the essential element in project management plan
because it help researcher to come over the issues like conflicts, disputes, misconception and so
on. However, the term communication is termed as a process or procedure to exchange certain
information or data in order to accomplish the task in an appropriate manner. Therefore, in
context of this research, researcher gathered all reliable content and conveys the same through
social media, email, mobile phone s to each manpower in a clear and transparent manner.
Moreover, manager of project also maintain a clarity and conscience in their communication
which lead them to accomplish their assigned activity in a desired time frame without any
obstacles or hindrances. Additionally, surveyor enlarge team members collaboration and
cooperation towards the fulfilment of work in a desired time limit (Hebl and Avery, 2012).
Risk: During the process of conducting current study, Tesco's researcher undergoes
through various kind of issues that entirely impacted over work performance and productivity of
work. Some of the difficulties were misconception, miscommunication, resistance to accept other
ideas which imposed negative effect over team members as well as organization brand image.
Hoover, for tackling over such risk, Tesco researcher adopted suitable actions that drive them to
attain better outcome in a desired time frame. Moreover, project manager also make an attempt
to invite its team members to take part in group discussion or presentation that help each
manpower to overcome over all conflicts, miscommunication effectively.
Resources: For conducting this present study, Tesco researcher hired highly skilled or
potential manpower who are able to contribute their best effort by sharing novel ideas or views
towards an obtainment of objective in a innovative style. Furthermore, project manager utilities
various diversity and equality strategies that empower them to generate a better relation among
personnel in an improved way.
P3 Work Breakdown structure and Gantt Chart
Gantt Chart is regraded as most productive and effective tool in executing the research
process as it mainly focussing over creating and developing a proper relation between activities
and time in order to accomplish the specified task in an efficacious mode (Henry And et. al.,
2014). Additionally, in this they demonstrate the data over x axis and y axis. Hence, in case of
current research, investigator make use of this component which enable them to convey the
information in a clear and easy manner and also to examine the whole project activity from

P4 Research methodology
Research methodology is viewed as one of the important aspect in conducting research as
it refer as a organised and systematic procedure or activity of searching information in order to
render better solution for specific research problem. Additionally, there are various methods to
collect data i.e. primary and secondary method (Hewins-Maroney and Williams, 2013).
Primary Data
This data is concern with those aspect in which data are collected for the first time and it
is not finished by any other researcher or scholars that is why it is also termed as first hand
information. The first benefit which primary data render is that it enable investigator to acquire
original and novel content regarding particular topic. In addition to this, data are collected in
different forms like questionnaire, observation, survey, focus group, interview and so on.
However, in context of this research, researcher make use of questionnaire that help them to
adopt different opinion, views, ideas about specified topic in an efficacious and timesaving
manner.
Secondary Data
This method data collection is also termed as a second hand information because
secondary data refers to those concept in which researcher acquires information or data from
journals, articles, newspaper, magazines, online sources and many more. Moreover, it also
available within market that means it is already attempted by some other scholar in respect of
peculiar topic. Hence, in regard of this research, investigator gain data from different websites,
online books, articles, journals and presented the views in the form literature review for attaining
desired goal or objective in a prescribed time duration.
Qualitative research
Qualitative research is also termed as exploratory technique as it encompasses an
identification of several characteristic, symbol, name and code. Moreover, this technique enable
researcher to adopt enormous amount of information and experiences in detail. IN addition to
this, it cost effective approach as well as assist investigator to develop research with relevant
information and data in an improved manner. IN case of this project, researcher makes an effort
to utilise qualitative researcher as it aid them to gain deeper apprehension of topic and also lead

Quantitative research are the link with those technique in which data are expressed in
the sort of graph, chart, graphical presentation, number, statistical formulas and so on. Along
with this, quantitative technique help investigator to answer to several question such as how
many, how much and many more. IN reference to present case, organisation make use of such
type of data in attaining better quality of their project and also to provide amended level of
personnel satisfaction in a effective way.
Sampling
It is define as those procedure in which data are gathered by choosing respondents from
the wider number of population to attain better outcome in a ordained time. Additionally, it is
categorised into two types i.e. probability and non- probability. However, in relation to this
particular research, investigator use random sampling method of probability technique. With the
help of implying random sampling method, it enable researcher to render equal chances to
targeted personnel in terms of expressing their views or ideas for accomplishing the task in an
improved mode. Hence, researcher choose 20 respondents as a sample size from Tesco.
M2 Evaluate the accuracy and reliability of different research methods applied.
In the segment of research methodology, there are different types of method in gathering
information or data about particular topic. Some of them are questionnaire, observation,
interview, experimental design and etc (Jammaers, Zanoni and Hardonk, 2016). Moreover, each
of these methods has their own features, function, roles to execute and organise a research in an
effective manner. However, questionnaire has been considered as a more accurate and reliable
method compare to other research methods. The primal reason is that it incur less cost and also
help investigator to obtain results from online and mobile tool that assist them to cover wide
range of areas in an improved way.
