are gathered and collected in this method of research. Such collection of data and information is
known as theoretical process.
Rationale- Reason behind adopting this research method that it saves allot of time as
compared to quantitative technique. This approach helps the manager in getting access to wide
range of information (Nordhoff, 2018).

Rationale-
The reason behind using this method of research is that it gives information and output that
managers can rely on as the data collected is in the form of numerical form. Therefore , this process
increases efficacy of project information.
Data collection methods
Achievement of goals in a systematic manner is important and necessary for data collection (Papke-
Shields, 2017). In this era , organisations and businesses have made it possible to connect to its
internal and external environment including vendors, employees, suppliers and even competitors by
the help of contacting and research information. Data collection method is of various types stated
in following points:
Primary data – Fresh new sources such as interviews, on-spot amassments and surveys are
being collected as primary data. Effective way of collecting data is classified and used primarily for
the enhancing productivity of business. Grounded theory uses primary data in the form of
participant observation , face-to-face interviews and direct artefact and documents collection.
Rationale- Reliability of work is applicable under this research method of initial data
collection as it helps in gaining fresh and new information based on current trends and facts. It is a
straightforward method that shows the current status of variable by observation of data collection .
Secondary data- It is an alternative another method of data collection through study of
journals, statements, books, internet etc. This data is a systematic information of primary data that is
unstructured and makes it useful by related with reliable facts and figures. Questionnaires are one of
the stand-alone instruments used to collect secondary data with help of subjects like phone, mail or
online connectivity (Paradis, 2016).
Rational - This method is more useful , reason behind it is less time consuming as compared
to collection of primary data. Hereby, Morrisons appoint researchers to construct secondary data
and add a sense to it that is useful for the organisation planning.
Research methods help in analysis of researches such as Correlation research, experimental
research, quasi-experimental research etc. These researches further help in bringing an ideal
solution to business problems and challenges faced on a large scale with qualitative and quantitative
surveys.
During this field work, I conducted my work through researching about topic, gaining
relevant data for further process, interacting with my friends and discussing this topic with friends.
Also, I used to manage with organisations as one of my relative work in Morrisons in finance
department. With his help it was easy for me to manage connections with enterprise. I too faces
many problems such as difficulty in contacting to senior employees of firm, gaining not useful
