TOPIC
“ For determination of the strategies and initiatives that can be helpful for an
organization in developing an diverse and inclusive workforce”. The case study has to be
done over Sainsbury.
INTRODUCTION
Business has been expanding on regular basis and market is also facing dynamic situation
regarding competition given by various businesses to each other. It is necessary for working
together and all the workers of an organization should possess skills and talent with them. This is
helpful in achieving of objectives with goals. A recent trend has been developing of having an
inclusive workforce in an organization which makes unique and variety of skills, talents with
experiences that is required to make competitiveness alive within the market. For this purpose
only diverse workforce should be there within an organization. In this assignment Sainsbury has
taken a supermarket which is multinational in nature formed in 1919 headquartered at England.
Things to be covered in this assignment is based on important of workforce that has to be
explained. Further strategies is required to be helpful for building of environment that is healthy
at workplace. Also the research that has to be taken is based small scale and tools is also used.
TASK 1
Inclusive workforce is considered to be workforce of such a kind that is present in an
organization and has been valuing the opinion that impacts decision making for making
employees feel the valuable towards an organization. This is leading towards improvising of
performance and commitment in an organization.
Research aim
To identify the impact of company policies related with equality and diversity day to
day activity of employees. A study on Sainsbury Company.
Research objectives
To explore company policies related with diversity and equality.
To determine the influence of diversity and equality policies on day to day activities of
employees.

Review of Literature
Inclusive workforce in a company
As per (Marinho, Sampaio and Moura, 2018) if the workforce in a company belongs to
various caste,sex gender and religion it will amount to have a inclusive workforce in the
company. This is leading over working with coordination and togetherness which is valuable for
an organization. It is required to be created in an organization because it makes engagement of
employee’s possible and making creativeness possible. Also it is going to give rise to innovation
and makes environment at work inclusive. Employee turnover is also reduced in order to make
him valuable towards the organization and makes goals achievable.
Various Strategies Required to Build the Inclusive and Diverse Workforce
As per (Isherwood and Tassabehji, 2016) The view there are various kinds of things
which is playing an important role in making an organization build inclusive workforce in an
organization. It makes goals and objects achievable with efficiency. This makes training and
development program to be developed within an organization to make tolerance possible with
each other. With this there will be an increase in the value of new ideas as well as thoughts. This
makes an employee committed and confident towards and organization. It makes inclusiveness
in working environment.
Advantages or Benefits of having inclusive and diversified workforce in the company
According to.... The area of globalization economic of an organization has been putting
various efforts over creating diverse workforce for making skills, talent to be brought out in the
persons to be hired by organization. This is going to make process of production has to be
manufactured by organization. This leads an organization productivity to be increased. Also
inclusive work force is going to be managed by them. So, inclusive workforce is helpful in

boosting of performance and has to be focused over the work. It makes building of strong brand
image within the market of an organization.
P2 Project management plan
These are the plan that is being formed in order to mark as a formal and well developed
plan which is going execute or help in monitoring with project controlling. Also this makes
identification possible over the factors that is helpful in making task to be achieved. This
makes essential factors of project to be achieved with results in appropriate manner.
Cost: This is one of the very important factor that is helpful in a project. It makes
determination about the cost to be involved within the process of project accomplished. It
makes the aims of the project to be achieved in effective manner and also resources
should be utilized in smart manner. The total cost of project to be required is £68000.
Time: It is referred to as total time that is required to be invested within the project that
makes diversity to be achieved in efficient manner. It makes an accuracy to be achieve
with efficient result. Only 3weeks time should be given to complete a project. Scope: It makes the documentation over the specific goals that has been set to make an
project completed. Under this features, functions, deliverables, costs and deadline is
required to be checked. All this is required for research.

Quality: This is related to the work and production which has to be produced by the
process. All of it is related to the product which has been formed. It is completely
dependent upon quality and data collected. Communication: It is one of the most important factor that is responsible for a project to
circulate information within members of the team. Effective communication is required
to be there in order to make smooth running of project possible. It is required in an
research to communicate channels like internet, mobile and phones etc (Huber,
Kaufmann and Steinmann, 2017). Risk: This has been resulted over the contingencies that has been accruing within the
project and the outcome of it. Project is going to be helpful over achieving of high quality
result.
Resources: Such type of resources are very important for a project to accomplish task.
Things like office, printers, data collection is achieved. All this makes project to be
completed on time.
P3 Gantt chart and WBS
Gantt chart: These are that type of chart which is there to make identification of various
kinds of time variations that is required to be given within a project for making it accomplished
of project within time period specified. Also helps in making project to be completed in proper
manner.Also this helps in getting to know that how much time is going to be acquired by an task
to be completed. This helps in providing of adequate information regarding whole project which
helps in gaining more relevancy in accomplishing it.
