INTRODUCTION In the present time, there are several new and digital technologies which helps theorganisation to distributes and transform information. It is very important for the organisation tocommunicate information to their stakeholders so that they can create faith and trust amongthem. Digital technologies have changed the way of doing the different business operations. Ithas been analysed that these digital technologies have change the traditional business models andtransform it into new models. There are several digital mobile technologies that have served aproper wealth of opportunities and choices. Other than that when it comes to the production, ithas given a more innovative idea to the organisation to produce innovative products and servicesto the customers. Digital distribution is the changes that have been occurred in the differentbusiness models due to new digital technologies, it has direct impact over the vale proposition ofexisting products and services. It has been identified that there is rapid enhancement in theutilisation of mobile devices for the office or personal work. This changes are known asconsumerisation of IT (Montgomery and Chester, 2013). It has largely increased the potential ofdigital distribution to the many industries. The very good example digital distribution isAmazon, Hulu Plus, Netflix etc. digital transformation is the reworking of the products,processes and strategies within an organization by leveraging current technologies. TASK 2P4 Analyse research and data using appropriate tools and techniquesThe present study is based on the major challenges and opportunities that are faced by theorganisation from implementation of Digital disruption and transformation. In order to conductthe investigation about the Asda Ltd researcher required to focus on the various methods of theresearch methodologies. This is very important chapter in the investigation, which helps theresearcher to collect the appropriate information and analyse in proper way so that effectiveresults can be drawn. There are several aspects that are included in the research methodology,that are research approach, research design, data collection, research philosophies, sampling etc.If the research methodologies chapter is not there, then data can not be collected in effectivemanner as well as researcher can not able to draw proper conclusion and results. For attainingthis objective, scholar will follow these methods which are as follows:Research Strategy: It is one of the most important chapter of the research by whichinvestigator to collect and analyse information. When the investigator is select the way of doingthe research, he or she need to keep several aspects in his or her mind. Such as aim , objective,study etc. On the basis of aim and objective, selection of research strategy is dependent. Thereare two types of research strategy, that are qualitative and qualitative. The key objective of thisresearch is to analyse the major challenges and opportunities that are faced by the organisationfrom implementation of Digital disruption and transformation. In order to achieve the aim andobjective, researcher have selected qualitative research strategy. When it is concerned about thequalitative research strategy, it is method deep analysis for the subject which is made by theresearcher with the different concept and theory (Chaffey and Patron, 2012). On the other handquantitative research strategy then researcher use different practical tools and techniques such asregression, correlation, t- test, a nova test and standard deviation etc. This helps the researcher tofind the relationship between the different independent and dependent variableResearch Approach: This is another major important chapter in the research whichhelps the scholar to collect the information which is related to the subject. This method assiststhe investigator to collect the proper information about the topic so that appropriate outcome canbe identified. On the basis of research strategy, research approach is dependent.
