in organization system. It is directly lined with number of modifications that occur due to
adaption of digital technology in the system as it enable to form the transactions in effective and
efficient manner. These system is directly linked with developing small scale organizations to
significant level so that they can grow and earn high outcomes in set time period of time. The
company included in this project is ZOCDOC, a medical care service company that delivers
medical care search facility system at free of cost. Its headquarter is located in New York. Below
discussed research report throws light on number of aims and objectives, a management plan,
and action procedures in relation to impact of digital technology on small business. Apart from
it, data analysis and interpretations are also made in accordance to the collected data.

It is very much important for the business to adopt new and innovative technology into their
system in order to run all the business activities in conducive manner. Similarly, for ZOCDOC it is
necessary to adopt all advanced digital technology system in conducting its business activities so that
final objectives and aims could be accomplished. For instance for running communication system in
effective manner company can make use of social media and mobile technology that will allow them to
connect with the customers and construct the strong relationship with them. There are number of
aspects associated with it that include cloud technology that enable to perform administration
function, artificial intelligence and big data analytics, the internet of things etc. These digital
technology system assists in carrying out the work process in successful manner. Another benefit
also include companies can easily promote through the technology.

P2 Project management plan
Planning defines the route that has to be followed in order to carry out the activities in
appropriate manner. The project manager of the company plays an essential role in drafting out
the management plan so that every step can be full filled in proper manner that results in
achievement of set goals and objectives (Chesbrough, 2010). The plan which is drafted must
include number of factors that are discussed below:
 COST: It include number of expenditures that have to be done while adopting several
technology system. ZOCDOC require large amounts of funds and finance in order to
implements something new in to the company that may involve number of digital
technology concepts.
 TIME: Without formulating the time period, no plan can be conducted therefore, it is
necessary by the project manager to allocate specific time period which is required in
carrying out specific work activity.
 RISK FACTORS: ZOCDOC may face number of risks as they are introducing innovative
concepts into the system which may be acceptable by the customers or not. Hence, this
factor must be consider by project manager while drawing management plan.
 COMMUNICATION: The project manager make effective use of number of
communication channels that are available in order to build strong image in the minds of
customers for longer period of time. For instance there are numerous social media sites
that can be utilized by the company to promote their business to larger people.
 SCOPE OF THE PROJECT: The scope for the company is broad and sustainable as it
will result into establishing of business in the market place. It will lead in earning of high
profits and outcomes as well as good image. Thus, it can be concluded that the proposed
project have high scope and that is why project manager must perform all his tasks in
such a manner so that set purposes must be achieved in perfect manner.

In order to start a new project, it is required by the company to consider point of views of the
customers so that they can make accurate decisions in carrying out the business activities. Project
manager also draft action plans in which they define the sequence of activities to be carried out
at particular time period (Crane and Matten, 2016). On the other hand, all resources that are
available must also be put into effective use so that final goals must be accomplished in efficient
way.
A work break down structure is a plan that is framed by consisting of all goals, objectives
of the company which is consider prominent and important to be full filled. Under this, complete
work is divided into smaller part and that is assigned by every individual to be achieved in
correct manner.
A Gantt chart is also an action plan which is prepared that focuses on all activities that
has to be performed by the particular company. It is made in the pyramid form that contains all
actions plans which is done in some set steps that are as follows:

Research is something which is being done for a particular reason and it does help in carrying
out those things which is not yet been disclosed in order to attain the update with various new
ideas and knowledge. Moreover, there are two famous methods of research in order to gain the
analyses on the market demand too. While conducting the research of market it is required to
have a clear understanding of the objectives of research in better way (Den Hertog, Van der Aa,
and De Jong, 2010). So that they can come to know that which type of information they have to
collect whether original data and data which is already establish on order to have a fact effective
result. Most acquired and used methods of collecting information are as:

changes that are taking place in the business environment (Jones and Lubinski, 2012). Digital
technology aids in responding to the modification sin effective mode. ZOCDOC always belies in
taking the consideration of the customers that are present in the market place and finally they
take decisions properly for the company.
ZOCDOC make use of cloud computing for conducting the function of sharing, storing the
data information in the computer for longer period of time. This allow the management system to
share important and materialistic information from one to place another as well as people can
also take important information which is beneficial for them. For storage and distribution
function that can make use of “The internet of things” that will allow them to connect and
integrate systems throughout business structures. Similarly, ZOCDAC can carry out their
production process with the help of big data analytics and artificial intelligence that is directly
linked with innovative growth of the product.
By introducing effective communication system ZOCDOC can connect with their customers in
proper manner. Thus they must adopt benefits of mobile technology that is present and social
media so that they must be perform their transaction at global scale and collaborate with them in
effective manner. Security is also the other essential aspect that must be adopted by the company
in order to secure the important information that must be protected and secure by the
management system. Hence, it is the responsibility of the manager to improve the skills and
knowledge of the staff members (Gebauer, Edvardsson and Bjurko, 2010).

Research is not complex process that require loads of materials, time, money that is obligatory to
conduct the research project. Thus, it is necessary for the project manager to carry out their
feasibility study so that final project must be completed in accurate manner. There are number of
factors and elements that include legal, environmental, technological and other external
components that must be consider while conducting the research process (Incelli, 2013).
There are number of issues and challenges that are there is conducting research process in
that has to be faced by the manager in adequate way so that complete research project must get
completed successfully. For instance questionnaire methodology can lead to generation of issues
at the time of filling by the individuals.
CONCLUSION
From the above prepared report it can be concluded that digital technology is consider most
important methodology to carry out the work process properly in the company. Report highlights
