Introduction: Title: Equality and diversity at the workplaces. Equality in the management level of the organisation refers to the things which change or reflect the behaviour of its employeewhich affects the performances’ of theworker in the team. Equality and diversity in the workplaces refers to treating the every member of the organisation equally in respect of their age, gender, culture andassumption. As per the equality act 2010, every employee of the organisation are given protection from any kind of discrimination such as religion and culture background , disabilities of the person. Under this report, the Fat Bear is a restaurant in theLondon , planning to expand their business at the international market. the organisation focus on having theequality and diversity at their workplace by havingeffective management plan and conducting the market research in target market place. (Ballantine, Banks, Haynes, 2015) PART 1: LO 1: P1: explain the project aims and objective of the organisation: According to the athor, Grad A Go, equality and diversity at the workplaces related to discrimination among the male and female employee at the management team which affects the performance of the whole Fat Bear organisation in the market. all the member of the company need to be treated equally so that they are able to perform their activities in productivity ways which lead to expansion and grow of the company. Topic of research:due to the equality and diversitywhat issues and problems doesthe organisation faces and what steps can be taken to dissolve this issues and conflicts. Aims and objective: To examine the equality and diversity. To know implication of equality and diversity for the Fat Bear organisation. To finds out the issues from the equality and diversity and measures to solve it. Research questions: Explain the equality and diversity? 1
What is the impact of equality in the organisation performance? What are conflict arise due to equality and diversity and steps overcome it at work place? P2: Make the project management plan that includes the aim and deliverable, time, quality , communication and risk, resources: In the context of the Far Bear organisation, it is essential make the effective project management plan which helps in achieving the goals and objectives in the most profitable manners in the competitive market. Brief explanation of proposed research project topic : The motive of this research is to find out the problems occurring from equality and diversity at theorganisation and differencing among the maleand femaleemployees of thecompany in the task. this research helps in providing the effective work environment to its employees so that goals and objectives of the organisation can be achieved.Bleijenbergh, and Van Engen,, 2015) Brief on scope andlimitation:here the resources and cost associated with the research are stated: Time:to compete the project in proper manners, the time must to be allotted to every small task in the project so that it can be finished in time. In the context of the Fat Bear , the respective research project will take around six months to get competed and get the potential outcomes. Quality:it is most important part of the research as it shows the validity of the project so that effective information can be collectedwhich will help them to make the good policies at the work place. Resources:to conduct the research in the target market, the organisation need resources such as funds, computer and advance technology, effective research team who are having the skills and capabilities to conduct the research in productivity manners. Communication:the Fat Bear company, tries to have effective communication in the team so that important information can be transferred in the management team so that they can conduct the research and find proper solution.(Maiorescu,and Wrigley,2016) Cost:to the compete the research of the organisation , team needs funds which they can collect form the banks and financial institution and conduct the project in the market. 2

Lo2: P4: Conduct the small-scale research having primary and secondary methods for meeting the projects objectives: The Fat Bear organisation uses various different tools andtechnique to collect the information from the target market so that they can find out the what people believes about the equality and diversity in their organisation. to collect the data and effective information the organisation uses two methodologies such as qualitative and quantitative according to the need of the research. Qualitative method:under this method, the data is collected in the target market by having open end communication with the people and find out what individual thinks about the equality and diversity at the workplaces. Tries to collect the data whether there is any difference between themale and female employees at the workand collect sample about different opinions of 4
people in the market. the qualitative method provide data which is depth andaccurate information which can be useful for the organisation to draw the conclusion. Quantitativemethod:as per this method, the size of the sample is large which helpsthe organisation to examine what huge number of the audience thinks about thediversity at the work places. See a major population thinks about the research topic. Primary data:under this process, the data is collected for the first time in the market where different point of view of targetcustomer and people are collectedto find out cause of the problem in the organisation work places. The equality refers to the treat all the employee equal at the organization so that goals and objective can be achieved by the company in the present as well as in the long run. I have also learned that employees from the different background culture are able to share the various ideas which helps them to achieve the set target in the profitable manner and efficient ways. 18
