INTRODUCTION
Companies work with the assistance of their most significant resource that is employees.
Organizations understand the importance of employees in the workplace and form strategies so
that they could be retained in the workplace. Employees are called the precious asset of the
organization because they focus on achieving objectives of the company. So, it becomes
significant for companies to come up with strategies to motivate, encourage and empower
employees.
TASK A
Overview of the organization
The current project is dependent upon strategies of talent management considered by
companies for attracting and retaining workforce that is talented, qualifies and knowledgeable.
The chosen organization is ASOS works under clothing industry. It is a British online cosmetic
and fashion retailer founded in 3 June, 2000 Nick, Andrew, Quentin and Deborah. Company was
founded to primarily aim at young people and the headquarters is situated in London, England,
UK.
Aim and Objectives of the project
Project Aim: To develop the knowledge about the different talent strategies with the motive of
attracting and retaining best employees in the workplace. A study on ASOS
Project Objectives:
To study different types of talent strategies for retaining and attracting employees in the
organization within ASOS
To determine the impact of talent management strategies in driving performance and
success of workplace within ASOS
To identify issues that occur while developing different type of strategies to attract and
retain employees within ASOS

Project Management Plan
Project management plan is made with the purpose of reaching definite results. Each and
every project has predefined objectives to achieve. In this particular plan particular deliverables
are identified that need to be performed in the certain time period. This plan assists in planning,
initiating and monitoring the whole project.
Resources
Resources are the things that focus on completing the project. It is developed and com-
municated in the initiation stage of the project so that required activities could be done with right
amount of resources. Researcher has taken use of resources like books, publications, magazines,
articles etc. In this various communication channel is also used to transfer information at right
time.
Risk
It is generally defined as a negative factor that can affect project negatively. The project
manager tries to find any type of negative factor in advance before conducting any activity so
that it could be prevented. Researcher is always ready with backup plan so that if anything hap-
pens negatively then another plan could be used.
Cost
Cost is defined as the expenditure that is required to carry out different activities of project. The
project manager needs appropriate amount of funds so that it could be located in different activi-
ties. For this researcher has made budget by evaluating every activity and would need £600 for
achieving objectives.
Quality
This is the component of project management plan that helps project manager to carry out every
activity in the great quality manner.
Work breakdown structure
It is the structure that is very effective in taking out activities and operations for supporting
project. This is the structure that simply breaks activities in small tasks for completing them in

short duration because smaller tasks are easier to complete. It puts same nature of activities in
one group and remaining activities in another.
Gantt chart
Gantt chart is one of the most useful charts because it has bars that divide activities with the de-
fined time period. The length of this particular chart defines the time duration of every task and
activity required for accomplishment.

Research Methodology
Research Philosophy
Research philosophy is defined as one of the important research methodologies that have specific
set of beliefs so that project could be based upon. Positivism and interpretivism philosophy are
the kinds of research philosophy. Project manager has selected positivism philosophy so that
numeric data could be evaluated (Arantes do Amaral and et. al., 2018).
Research Approach
Research approach refers to the method that has two types that are deductive and inductive. In
the current project investigator has selected deductive approach as it helps in informing the deci-
sion going to carry out in data collection and analysis of the project. Another reason is it supports
number data to achieve objectives in short time.
Research Strategy
Research strategy refers to the step of collecting information by adopting different strategies. It is
being divided into different types that are grounded theory, case study, archival research,
experimental research, survey etc. Survey is chosen by project manager as it helps in recording
primary information from all those people who are selected as respondents (Ratnam, C., 2019).
Research Choice
Research choice is one of the significant methodologies in the current project. Qualitative and
quantitative are the two kinds of choices for the collection of information. Quantitative chosen
