INTRODUCTION
Hotel is the place where customers are provided with the services such as
accommodation, food, lodging, cafeteria, banquet hall and many more for the satisfaction of
needs and wants of their customers. This industry has impacted much on the global economy in
positive way in ensuring its growth and development. The company chosen for the completion of
this assignment is Holiday Inn which was founded in the year 1952 and is headquartered in
Denham, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom. The company provides their customers with
different types of services such as food services, lodging, meetings, conventions and many more
according to the needs and demands of their customers. The assignment will start with making its
focus on various types of accommodation services available in hospitality industry, role of front
office desk, role of different facilities and security provided in accommodation sector and
contribution of housekeeping department is providing their customers with good services along
with satisfaction as well.
TASK 1
P1) Scale and Size of Accommodation Services Within Hospitality Industry
In UK, there are large number of hotels operating in this industry which has cont5ributed
a significant roles in the growth and development of economy of that country. Along with this,
the reason for improvement is also because of consideration taken by hotel industry of the
prevailing and continuously changing customer trends which helped a lot in improving quality of
their services so that satisfaction of customers could be made safe. The description related to
rating of hotels is also provided as under:

the competition in between these hotel companies will be high as most of the visit will be in thee
hotels.

of visiting to different places in the world in increasing day by day due to different reasons such
as educational purposes, recreational purposes, enjoyment, medical and many more. With the
help of grading systems, online sites it has become possible for company to provide their
