Lastly, monitoring and evaluation of change process is alsooutlined in the assignment for identifying its success and failure.TASK 11.1 Analyse the resources influence of change on an organizationBody Shop is a British cosmetic association which is engaged in offering skin careproducts and perfume with fully unique quality that attracts the large number of customers.Basically, this organization is owned by Brazilian cosmetic association named as Natura. Asduring the era of 2006 to 2017 company had been owned by French beauty organization which isalso one of the famous in cosmetic industry named as L’Oreal. Thus, in June of 2017, L’Orealagrees to sell the organization to Natura for almost£880 million and the deal was finalised inalmost 20117 September. During that time, controversy in media claims that L’Oreal wascontinuing to test on animals which is contradicts by the Body Shop because animal testing is3
totally against according to the core values of company. Hence, nowNatura is a brand whoalways concentrates in reducing the animal testing things and use education or training things foridentifying alternative tools and technologies as well as use only fresh and sustainableingredients. This shows that this company is also going for change as per current needs anddemand of customer. In fact, rejection of animal testing is one of the best examples of BodyShop which shows that this company believes in using different resources instead of followingothers(Brownand Osborne,2012).Resources is a term which means that the elements or assets that is used by anorganization for accomplishing their business activities in order to attain set objectives or goalsin a defined time frame.
