Introduction
Practicing any field in which someone is an expert is the celebrated profession
throughout the World. There are many fields of consultancy services practiced throughout the
World. Consultancy in the area of education, advocacy, health, management, reengineering,
transport, human resources, finance and banking is done by professional (Pires and Alves 2015).
A comprehensive report for consulting practice in the field of law and advocacy is
provided. The practice I the law firms is considered to be a area of repute .This is the one of the
most interesting and dynamic field where, the advocates do not fight cases but they are engulfed
in different cases and scenarios of different people and thus they fight to win the cases (Andrews
and Shimp 2017). The most important thing which sets practice apart from any other profession
is that the people are very inspired individuals and they are motivated by the leaders and know
how to win. In order to uphold the vision, mission and purpose of practice in law it is crucial for
the individuals to dedicate towards the ultimate goals and thereby achieve satisfaction.

Research on the legal consulting sector
This field has faced many tough times since there are lot of changes and amendments
coming and people in the profession of law face difficulty to quickly adapt to the changing
circumstances. It is crucial that the legal consultant shall be quick and updated with the latest
amendments so that they can assist their clients and retain them in fast changing environment
(Oh, Cho and Kim 2015).
Legal consultancy is a client based driven industry and therefore the consultancy firm
practicing law and advocacy need to quickly adapt to the terms, service and operations. In the
past few years there has been a significant transition in all the areas of profession such as
legislation management and also the technology (Alhaddi 2016). Thus it is crucial to maintain a
competitive edge and thereby maintain a long term growth. On the surface it is seen that the
Australian law firms are performing very well and it has been found from different sources that
these consultancy firms grew very rapidly and thus they outperformed the market by growing
11.5% to $ 2.95 billion. They enjoyed a steady growth and this was the most attractive for
consulting firms (Akwetey 2015).
The strategic, structural, cultural challenges that the consultants face while practicing law
and advocacy
There a lot of challenges that are faced by this industry and which is to be given
importance. The market is divided into two parts the first part is the low cost customized part and
the other is high value legal advocacy and consultants. This division has forced a lot of

consultants to take decisions so that they can address both the market condition, so that they can
capture both the market (Basu 2014.). The consultants are therefore making plans so that they
can make well defined plans to strategize the cost, pricing, brand of starting consultancy
services.
There are technological as well as there are huge changes in the legislation and cultural
environment and they are making new business model and thus the people should make a
comprehensive plan and strategies their business and operating model so that they can sustain
their clients and make them successful thus serving their clients (Castro 2016). The legal
consultants should ensure continuous connectivity and engagement with the clients and the
services they need.
