Executive summary
In this study, it has been identified that with the effective collaboration between business
operations and engineers, the functional activities in the workplace has got influenced. In case of
Ola, it has been identified that by adopting the performance driven, collaborative and
entrepreneurial approaches the company has started its journey towards the transformation
process. Analyzing the current management issues in OLA, it has been identified that customer
satiafaction has become the important concern for the OLA management authority. In most of
the cases, cancelled rides without notice has impacted on the expenses of the company. By
continuing this, it has also been identified that limited budget and employee pushback have
created barriers for Ola to adopt the digitized transformation approach in its business activities.
A standard digitization strategy through augmented reality lens can be introduced by enhancing
the accessibility of the OLA app. In order to avoid the fake rides, the company can focus on
improving the tracking system by adding the Slack software.

Introduction and Background
Digitization has brought the significant impact in case of dealing with transforming
working environment. As the impact of atomized business operations, the strategic direction of
the companies are getting affected (Plesner, Justesen & Glerup, 2018). In the current competitive
business environment introducing the new technological initiatives have become necessary in the
mobility sector for introducing better customer experience. Currently, augmented reality has
become highly popular innovation initiative, which is providing the virtual experience to the
customers in a cost effective manner. In case of Ola, it has been identified that by adopting the
performance driven, collaborative and entrepreneurial approaches the company has started its
journey towards the transformation process. In order to lead the effective transformation, the
cultural pillars of the company have played a crucial role (Gottschalck & Günther, 2017).
However, introducing the standard experience to the rider augmented reality initiative can be
beneficial for the company.
Ola Cab is the popular Indian transformation company, which was established in the year
2010 on 3rd December. It is being considered as the largest mobility platform, which is currently
operating in more than 250 cities across India, UK, Australia and New Zealand (Ola.com.au,
2019). Analyzing the current business scenario, it has been identified that in the digitized
business environment, adding the innovative practices in the business operation, the companies
in the market have gained positive results. It is also true that digitization has made the significant
impact in case of driving the strategic directions of the companies.
The purpose of this study is to shed light on the significant impact of digitized solution in
case of driving the business strategic directions. In order to enhance the customer experience in
