1. Ways in which adoption of a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) facilitate the delivery of a
high Quality of Service in this e-Government architecture
Service-oriented architecture (SOA)is basically the style of the software design under
which the services are being offered to other components through application software or
through the communication protocol.
SOA has helped in provided infrastructure components like service network devices and
many more as building blocks of COEGA as it has provided COEGA discovery and
reusability of e-government services with the help of re-usable SOA infrastructure.
This has helped in increasing the reusability of the infrastructure over the internet due to
which efficiency and effectiveness and service quality of service has been improved.
This has further helped COEGA to enhance their overall sharing of information,
information exchange among various government organizations.
So, it can be said that SOA has helped in facilitating COEGA in facilitating high service
quality. SOA helps in reusing computing components and cloud computing enables this
technology to become more flexible for architectures that are build on SOA solutions.
2. features of SOA that facilitate the management of SLAs for ensuring the quality of service
from the cloud computing providers
Service-level agreement (SLA) is generally the contract between service provider as well
as its external or the internal customers which documents that what services will the
provider will furnish as well as defines services standards.
There are many features of SOA that has helped in facilitating SLA management, such as:
Virtualization feature of SOA has enhanced VM monitoring feature.
Service reuse feature of SOA has helped in enhancing service requires examining feature so
that interface between service providers and end users is maintained and service request from
end users can directly be send to end users. This has further helped in maintaining service
repository which is sued to provide service to the end users.
