Current business environment is changing continuously which have number of impact
on business and technology. Now there is introduction of information technology in business
organisation which helped in producing innovative products and ideas for satisfied customer
want. Information can be said as a process which help organisation in storing, manipulating
and securing the data of which are related to their customer base. Number of organisation
which provides information and technological services to business organisations, some of
these are IBM, Hewlett Packard, XEROX, and Accenture etc. which help a business firm in
using the software and solution for their function to achieve goals and objective of business.
In this report there will be discussion on Tesco and its use of information technology in
functioning of employees and other activities. Tesco is in leading retail giant which is
situated in UP with more than 10000 outlet worldwide. Companies operating in more than 10
Nations so it is required a good information and technological system which can help it in
smooth functioning. Aim of this report is to create awareness about ERP system and
information system. The main objective of this report is to provide the complete analysis and
information about the implementation of information system and its use. This report includes
a detailed discussion on information system and its category which can use buy Tesco ERP
system which enable form giving its operation technology and information system. These
reports will also analysis the benefits of ERP system and application of these benefits in real
life. Information systematic and main part of organisation as it helped organisation in
managing the firm with the use of technology which always help in reducing the errors of

resources which help organisation in maximizing the profitability (Omekwu, 2006).

make awareness towards cash inflow and outflow that helps in calculation of profit and

the transaction held at workplace in suitable manner. In context of TESCO, the manager

revenue as well as expenditure occurred throughout the year. The finance manager of
business firm tackle overall transactions as well as keep updated about the changes which is
undertaken in marketplace. Then, all the information related to transaction is conveying to

organisation in maintaining financial position in an appropriate manner. Without recording
the overall transaction, it is difficult for firm to secure their data from burglary as well as
theft. Therefore, the management team focuses on monitoring such kind of problem in an

business firm at marketplace. For instance, the management team focuses on input that is
comping from selling of product related to cloud system which is used to evaluate the

beneficial in future time period or not. Therefore, the top management of TESCO adopted
MIS for assessing the different marketing trends and conditions in an appropriate manner.

is necessary to have high skilled as well as knowledge for resolving the issues and problems

time. There are different types of decision taken by higher authority at workplace. For
instance, if the production cost is higher than profit of business firm, therefore, it is the
responsibility of management team to create innovative ideas in order to resolve the problems
in an effective manner. Thus, it helps them in boosting future sales as well as growth of
company in upcoming period of time.
From the above discussed information system, it has been analysed that it is difficult
for entity to perform its business activities and operations in an effective manner without
taking use of information system. There is different kind of information system which is

workplace.

helps in performing difficult task in easy manner. It assists the firm in obtaining results in
systematic way. Through the use of ERP system, the business organisation performing
various activities and functions such as accounting, managing risk as well as project
management in an effective manner. In context of TESCO, the management team adopted
ERP system for planning, marketing as well as building customer relationship in an
appropriate way. There is different kind of ERP system which is used by business firm such
as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle PeopleSoft and many more. The ERP system is adopted
by business organisation to control the distribution activities in an effective manner. Apart
from this, it is the duty of supervisor to assess whether there is a requirement of ERP system
or not. It is necessary to have high skill, knowledge and competence in order to implementing
this system in proper manner. It decreases the issues and problems which occur within
business organisation in upcoming period of time. It signifies managing the work in firm so
that favourable outcome is achieved. In addition to this, the information is separated into
various parts so that it can be adopted throughout other portions of country too. It assists in
adopting the data, information as well as system in proper way. Furthermore, without use of

benefit to Tesco is improvement in there customer services. This also avail the benefit from
utilisation of ERP software like information is stabilized which have the sales team building
good relationship with customers. The best feature of ERP software is data security is not a
concern if company use ERP solution in its functioning. This also acted as a benefit for Tesco
using ERP software as it improve the data security and accuracy in company this is because it
have separate features and number of formalities which provide security to the data of
company. Another feature of ERP system in real life or benefit of ERP system is flexibility as
test is a modern enterprises where it required resource planning, number of configuration and
systems which can help it in increasing the flexibility of employees. EPR software help
organisation in changing in growing the business at allocating resources insufficient minor
which provide flexibility to its function, which also benefited in increasing productivity as a
system help in controlling organisation cost efficiency and save the time of firm which help it
in increasing the production level in organisation. Further, it helps the organisation in

them (Rouhani and Mehri, 2018).

also known as enterprises resources planning is that system which can utilise by organisation

which helped in increasing productivity, profitability and better management. For company it
is recommended that information system should be used with the proper decision making and
with the help of senior authorities the organisation which can help in achieving its objectives
policies further the firm should be aware about the use of system and type and how they will
affect business. For this organisation have to hire some good personality who have the skills
of operating ERP system and know all the things about the list system which help for me in
increasing productivity as well as profitability of business. It is also recommended that form
should make a market research in proper manner so that it can use stock wear and hardware
which are conflict and error free and also use the latest technology in the software for better
result.
