1MANAGING INFORMATION SYSTEM 1. Reason to migrate information to the cloud The application is being experienced increased traffic and it becomes critical to scale the resources on fly to meet with the increase in demand. There is required of cloud migration to reduce the operational costs while there is effectiveness of the IT processes. The client is required quicker application accomplishment and exploitation and wants to spotlight more on expansion while there is reduction of infrastructure overhead. There is required to establish disaster recovery system to set the data centers which will double the cost. Cloud migration is implemented to provide better control over the resources (Rittinghouse & Ransome, 2017). Tracking as well as upgrading the server software is time consuming as it needs quicker upgrades. The cloud computing can shift the ITexpenditure which is a benefit of the cloud mitigation. 2. Biggest security concern about cloud migration The biggest security concern about the cloud migration is data breach which is resuted from attack and negligence from the employee side. There is also human errors which is a primaryconcernintothecloudplatforms.Vulnerabilitiesintothecloudapplicationand ineffective security are causing data breaches. Account hijacking is also a concern with an increase in adoption of the cloud services. The security attacks are included employee’s loging information for accessing the sensitive information. It provides an effect on business’s integrity plus reputation. It prevents unauthorized access as well as damage to organization’s data assets (Ali, Khan, & Vasilakos¸2015). It is used to manage plus interact with the information into the cloud. Security of the confidential data is required in cloud services furthermore platforms.
