INTRODUCTION
Innovation in its modern meaning is "a new idea, creative thoughts, and new imaginations in
form of device or method". It also can be defined as finding better solutions to the problems by
implementing and making use of innovative ideas and creativity. Innovation can be bringing up
by the new start-ups or even by old enterprises in order to meet-out the needs and demands of
consumers. Present report will lay emphasis on National health organization (NHS) that is going
to bring out the new innovation such as remote health monitoring system. Report will lay
emphasis on justified and substantial area of innovation and determine its success or otherwise. It
will also focus on a designed and implementation plan for the following innovation.

The main purpose of the report is to implement an innovation which can assist NHS in
improvising the health outcome and reducing workload of employees

It has been analysed that National health organization is going to bring out new innovation
that is remote health monitoring system. This monitoring device will make use of biometric
sensors in order to measure patients or individual’s heart rate, blood pressure rate, respiratory
rate. National health organization is going to bring out this innovation in order to reduce the
admission of patients related to measuring of heart and blood pressure. This also increases the
work pressure of health care staff, nurses and administrative staff. They have started feeling
stressed and depressed because of the excessive workload. It has also been analysed that this
health monitoring system will also provide flexibility to patients as they will not have to visits
the clinical care unit every now and then.
In this they will make use of artificial intelligence and computer vision in order to measure
breathing rate, heart rate and blood pressure rate suffering from health related problems. These
health monitors will be smarter, wearable and smaller (Vecchiato, 2017). This is being developed
by NHS in order to monitor the health related problem. Even parents can make use of these
monitors to check up their sleeping and waking up time while connected it with the app. This

innovation can also be useful for health care professionals and nurses to monitor patients over
night. They can keep up a check upon whether service user is not facing any type of problem
during the absence of health care professionals.
Disruptive innovation model can purely describe this type of information where it will
affect the way health care units work. It will alter the ways by which clinical care unit is
functioning. It will create a new market and will also increase the competitive range. This can
affect the other business unit in a negative way that is willing to adapt the changes. The health
monitoring device which is being brought up will be successful as it will assist the patients in
checking up their heart and rate respiratory rate at home only (Kemeny and Storper, 2020). It
will reduce their entry in clinical care setting that will ultimately lower down the work load of
health care staff. It can also be useful in improvising the quality of life of individuals by
improvising their health outcome. This disruptive innovation will hamper the existing market
and will be able to create a new value network. Health monitoring device will also help patients
in knowing and making them aware about if any type of health related risk is being faced by
them or not. This innovation will assist the care trust in gaining competitive advantage and will
also help them in reducing the work load of staff members.

taking support from all staff members and health care professionals. Organization will also be
engaged in discussing the idea with them (Li, Porter and Suominen, 2018).
Evaluation: During this step NHS will be involved in evaluating the effectiveness of health
monitoring device so that, firm can analyse if any problem is been faced by staff members while
using the device.

not is able to pay the people who are engaged in developing of this device. This can increase dis-

NHS needs to make sure that while implementing the innovation plan, belief value and thought
of any individual or group must not be hampered by them.
Technological factor: In this NHS must be involved in providing training related to new
health monitoring devices to health care staff as well as patients. This will assist them in making
the utmost use of the new health monitoring device.
Legal factor: In this NHS needs to make sure that while innovating the new products and
services, they must be involved in following all rules and regulations. This will assist in
increasing their goodwill.
Environmental factor: In this NHS also must be involved in making sure that all resources
are been used effectively and there has been no wastage of resources.

respiratory rate of patients even in mid of night. It has assisted them in improvising the quality of
life of service users. It has also reduced the workload of their health care staff. There are various
